February Small Story Poll Response (Patreon)

Hey everybody, I hope you all are being treated better this month than RL has treated me.  February is always tough, ugh.

Anyway, this poll is finished and somewhat amusingly, it ended in a very predictable way.  

Yes, folks, FILFy won.  In fact, it crushed the competition with 2193.  251 of which came from Fanfiction.net.  

AGGC brought in a total of 1472 with only 91coming in from fanfic.  Fate Touched had a great showing too, with 1287 votes in total and 174 votes from fanfic.   A semblance of Hope brought in, again, a disappointing 68 votes over on fanfic, and a total of 1008.  It just doesn't bring in the numbers from Fanfic to really compete without a leg up.  Pout.

However.  I am still working on Making Waves.  the Wizard Saint portion of the chapter is kicking my ass, and I don't know if I will be able to finish the chapter before Monday.   If I can't, that means I won't be able to finish FILFy by the end of the month with enough time to send it off to be edited.  I have only posted two chapters of this story unedited, and I have no intention of doing so.  

If I cannot finish the chapter by Thursday next week I will roll FILFy over into March and instead post a chapter for Fate Touched, which has not been near as well-edited in the past LOL.

Yes, I know it wasn't the second-place winner here, but as I have mentioned several times, I like to put out at least one fic for my HP only and Ranma only fans a month, and I mentioned earlier this month I would throw my votes behind an HP fic in this poll.  

On top of that, I think I could knock off a chapter of it in a few days.  Not so much the others  The difference is between 10-12,000 words and 20-25,000 words for the others.  

That being said, it's been more than too long for Semblance of Hope and AGGC, so they will be back for the March Small Story Poll.  In fact, that poll will be a Ranma-only poll given that the two large stories for March are HP fics.  Be on the lookout for it because I will be posting it tomorrow.
