WIP #19 - Game Map Update - What a Ride! (Patreon)

Greetings Seekers! ✨

What an incredible journey it has been! We've been hard at work updating the artwork for a very exciting announcement coming later today, and as we reflect on our progress, we just realized what an adventure it was to design the map of our first delivery of Soulgasm!

Luckily enough, we've recorded the process that lead us to today's looks, and we wanted to share such a progress with you! So if you are in for a little tour through the different stages of the world we will be soon exploring, stick with us!:

Our journey began with just a glimmer of an idea—a beautiful house nestled on a tropical island 🌴 From there, we embarked on a series of design explorations, each iteration bringing us closer to our vision. And today, though not the final version of it, we proudly present the culmination of this creative odyssey.

It all began with our initial design explorations, which set up the general mood and structure of our paradisiac house of pleasure. From these humble beginnings, we progressed through various stages of development...

🏠 Final House Sketch with Layer Division: At this stage, we knew exactly who would inhabit each corner of this world, and a few empty rooms for others to come 👀

🎮 First Tests in the Game Engine: Here, you can see an early version with the old UI, which we ditched entirely to connect better with the artistic vision we had for Soulgasm!

Knowing a certain Captain🍿, this is not the last time we see the map artwork upgraded!

We hope you enjoy this glimpse into the creative process that brought our fantasy world to life, we certainly have a great sense of pride when re-visiting each of the steps, knowing the bits that made each of them the way they look and, in the end, a reality!
