Chapter 177: A relaxing day

“What kind of reasoning was that?” Wondered Nami.

“In the end, Zoro had to beat him up until submission.” Robin pointed out.

“Let's go Octi!” Luffy commanded from the front of the ship. The giant Kraken obeyed reluctantly his orders and pushed the Sunny forward.

“Not much of an octopus anymore, it only has half his tentacles at this point.” Said Vivi.

“Yeah, I told Zoro not to cut so many!” Complained Luffy.

“I am a swordsman, what did you expect!, that's how I fight. I cut things!” Shouted Zoro.

“On the bright side…”Luffy looked back. “Sanji!, how is the takoyaki going?”

“I just started!” The voice stressed voice of Sanji came from inside the ship.

“Is soo dark down here!” Usopp looked around looking worried.

“I can't see anything!” Exclaimed Chopper.

A couple of lights appeared from Sunny’s figurehead, illuminating the area a little bit.

“Tadaa!” Exclaimed Franky. “These lights don't consume much so we can leave them on most of the day.”

“That's awesome Franky!” Said Usopp.

Vivi extended her senses by using observation haki and noticed how surrounded they were by colossal creatures.

‘Should I tell them?, they seem to be keeping their distance.’

She wasn't sure if they were scared of the Kraken or something else but she did not sense any hostile intention and decided to keep quiet. There was no need to create more panic.

“How long do you think we have to reach the island?” Vivi asked Nami.

“Is hard to tell, I initially calculated between six to nine days in total. But with the way the currents move, changing the speed of our course, is possible that we arrive a few days earlier.” Answered the navigator.

“We should have a few days of peace and quiet then,” Vivi commented.

“Mmm, I suppose, as long as we are not attacked” Nami answered.

Vivi smiled and approached her. 

“You know? I can think of a few ways to spend our time here…”

She took Namis's hand and held it close to her, then she got closer and whispered in her ear.

“What do you think?“

Sanji woke up early in the morning as usual and made his way into the kitchen. 

After three days of navigating through the bottom of the ocean, the crew was falling into their routines again.

“Mmm, what should I prepare for today's breakfast?... I believe we still have some sausages left, but we are running low on eggs.”

Sanji stopped in front of the kitchen door and frowned, there was noise inside and smell of ingredients being prepared.

‘This can't be!...’

Horrifying flashbacks from that one time when Luffy tried to prepare food by himself appeared at the front of his mind and made his blood run cold.

He hurried to open the door and rushed inside.

“Luffy!, stop!...huh?”

The image of destruction and chaos that he was already anticipating was not there, instead, Sanji was welcomed by the lovely image of Vivi, wearing an apron while cutting some vegetables.

She stopped what she was doing and looked at him.

“Luffy?, he is still sleeping. It would be difficult to wake him up this early.”

“Vivi, what are…” He could not take his eyes off her. Beneath the apron, she was only wearing a very sexy swimsuit, the white apron covered some parts but left others exposed, creating an even more erotic image in his eyes.

A small line of blood descended from his nostril.

Vivi saw this and smiled.

“Wow,  just a tiny streak of blood. It seems like the training has been a success!.” She said proudly.

‘Ahh, yes…the training.’ Three days back, Vivi had suggested a way to help him gain some resistance to the female body in order to reduce his bleeding outbursts.

And the way she went about it was to convince Robin and Nami to parade in front of him wearing progressively more revealing clothing. 

”Yes!, it was very thought…but as you can see, the results speak for themselves!” He exclaimed.

“By the way…” He looked at the kitchen table and saw that she was cutting some lettuce and tomatoes.

“Ah…sorry about this, but today I felt like preparing something for breakfast by myself. I hope you don't mind.”

“Well…you know what you are doing and your knife skills are not bad. But what are you preparing?”

 This wasn't the first time he had seen her cocked something. There was one time when she showed him a recipe called ‘burritos’, a dish that she claimed to be a typical dish in Arabasta. 

Vivi smiled. “Breakfast burgers!”

“Oh!, another dish from your country?.” He knew about hamburgers but never heard of a breakfast variant.

“Let me help you then.”

The two of them prepared enough food for the entire crew and started to place on the dining table by the time people started to come in.

“Vivi?, did you cook too?” Usopp noticed that she was wearing an apron and was carrying some trays of food.

“I did!.” She smiled.

“You never cook, and you seem awfully happy today…” Zoro pointed out in his usual stern way.

“Oh, what is this!” Luffy sat down and stared at the pile of sandwiches in front of him.

“Is a breakfast sandwich with sausage patty, egg, and bacon. There is also a tomato salad and some fruit. Enjoy.” Vivi sat down between Nami and Robin and placed some food on her plate.

“The only times when you have cooked anything were when you were very happy about something.” Robin pointed out and looked at Nami who suddenly looked away in embarrassment.

“Did something happen?” She asked Vivi.

“Who knows?” Vivi brushed her off.

This got the attention of the rest of the table who were now listening to their conversation.

Robin then looked at Nami again.

“You know…you two were very loud last night. May want to be more careful next time.”

Nami dropped her fork and became red as the tomato she was about to eat.

“W-what?!, we were?...but…”

Vivi covered her mouth before looking at Robin.

“Robin… weren't you on the lockout last night?. And I know you didn't sprout any ears in the room, I checked.”

Robin shrugged. “It was just an educated guess.” she then gave them a shrewd smile. “But she just confirmed it.”

While the crew was more or less shocked about the revelation, Chopper looked genuinely confused.

“What happened last night? Why were you two making noises?”
