Chapter 92: Vivi vs Moria

Moria’s signal was very close. Vivi was running as fast as she could.

“There he is! At the entrance of the forest.”

Suddenly, another signal entered her area of perception, a very strong one that she wasn't familiar with.

The next second, He was already in front of her.

“Shit!“ She stopped and looked at the new arrival. A man with small legs and an impossible big torso.

“Bartholomew  Kuma…” She called.

“You know who I am. I should not be surprised, former princess of Arabasta. Tell me, if you could go anywhere, where would you like to go?” Kuma asked.

“Well…let me see…I like cold places, maybe somewhere tranquil, like a mountain range or something. Of course, I'm talking about a vacation, not to live there…with that out of the way…would you mind moving?. I have some business with Moria.”

“The World Government is starting to get worried about your crew. Although they never made it public, they have known that it was you guys who killed Crocodile, and now you are all on the brink of defeating another Shichibukai. After the mess of Enies Lobby…this would look too bad for the Government.” Explained Kuma.

“Yes, but we both know that you don't care about the government. Don't you?” She gave him a knowing look.

Kuma gave her an intense glare.

“You are a pirate after all. None of the Shichibukai are truly loyal to the World Government after all.”  Finished Vivi

Kuma wondered for a moment if she was being ambiguous on purpose and if she knew more than she was letting on.

“I will let you pass with one condition. You cannot kill Moria, no matter what. We have just replaced one dead Shichibukai, we cannot have another empty spot so soon.”

“Fine fine.” Vivi conceded. “I will not…” she then realized what Kuma said.

‘Wait, that already happened?!.’

She looked directly at Kuma.

“Who did Blackbeard capture to gain the position?!”

Kuma glared at her. “How do you know his name? I hasn't been announced yet.”

“Never mind that! Tell me!. Who?!” In the moment of tension, Vivi didn't realize but her eyes had started to shine with intensity until the point that it was impossible to discern her pupils in the white light.

Kuma took immediate notice of this and the aura that was emanating from her. For the first time in a very long time, Bartholomew Kuma was truly shocked.

His mouth opened wide. “That power! How did you get that?!...no…I cannot deal with this now…”

That was when Vivi realized that she has been throwing her aura around.

She calmed down and everything went back to normal.

“Do you know something about this?” She could no help to ask. This was the first time someone has recognize her mysterious power.

“I cannot speak of this now. But, listen to this because is very important!. Never show that to an Admiral. They will recognize it. And your life will be done!...as for your previous question…I don't know why you cared so much, but Blackbeard captured someone named Eustass Kid who had a bounty of over 300 million.”

All of Vivi's tension disappeared after hearing the name.

“Kid?...”

‘How did that happen? Did Ace never confront him?...maybe He listened to my advice. I didn't have much hope of that.’

“If that is all, I will take my leave. Remember your promise.” Said Kuma.

“Wait!, you have to tell me something more abou-”

Kuma did not let Vivi finish as He disappeared.

“Argg!” She yelled in frustration. “I need to vent with someone…right…Moria!”

She found him behind a big tree. He was sitting down with his back against the tree and his eyes closed.

‘He must be controlling his shadow from here. Letts wake him up with delicacy.’

She got in front of him, brought her fist back…and then punched his face with all of her strength.

“Wake up!”

The three that Moria was sitting against, broke in half at the strength of the impact and Moria’s nose started to bleed.

He then opened his eyes and looked at Vivi with pure rage. “You!”

Moria stood up and started to call some shadows to his aid. Around the island, many zombies started to collapse as their shadows left their bodies.

“I'm going to teach you why you shouldn't mess with a Shichibukai while Oz destroys the rest of your crew!”

Moria then turned the shadows into a group of bats that flew toward Vivi.

“I hope you have something better than that.” Vivi blasted the bats with a wave of water.

The shadow then reformed into two small copies of Moria and continued the attack.

“You know? two can play that game.” Vivi shot a big blast of water toward Moria and he blocked it by sacrificing one of the shadow men.

Vivi then reformed the water into her clone. Both she and her clone close the gap to Moria by using their movement technique.

Moria tried to block her by putting shadows in her way, but he was unable to stop both her and her clone.

“Arg!” Moria grunted as Vivi’s clone punched his stomach.

The shadows moved to protect Moria but Vivi got into the shadow’s way while her own clone keep pummeling Moria.

“Ahh!!” Moria was tossed around by the clone. He tried everything he could think of but was unable to stop the duo of water benders.

“Enough of this!” Moria's patience was at its limit. He tried to fight Vivi without resorting to this. This was the last thing He wanted to do, but there was no other way.

Zombies all around the island started to collapse as their shadows were taken. All of them started to fall as Moria was unable to discern who he was taking. Moria was calling for all shadows to return to him.

That of course included the shadows he took from Luffy and Sanji, who were still being used.

“200 shadows!” Moria's body started to grow in size as more shadows were absorbed into him.

“600!”He shouted.

“More! More!...800…900…1000!” By this point, Moria has grown to the size of Oz, or maybe even bigger.

He then looked down at Vivi.

“You are done!”
