Chapter 93: Luffy vs Moria

“You ruined everything!” Shouted the colossal Moria. “You and your crew will never leave this place alive!”

Moria punched the ground with so much force that it created an earthquake that shock the entire island.

The Hogback's mansion in the distance started to collapse.

“Let's hope Nami was out of there already…” Muttered Vivi.

“Where are you?!” Moria lost track of Vivi after launching his attack. Since he is now so big, the top of the trees obstructs his vision.

He then made a cutting motion with his hand and passed it through the forest, destroying everything at its pass.

Vivi had to fly into the sky to avoid it.

“There you are!” Moria saw Vivi in the air and went to grab her.

‘This is an awkward fight. He can't do anything to harm me, but I can't beat him either. I would need some massive attack to do so…I have nothing like that in my arsenal.’ Thought Vivi while seeing that massive hand approach.

“Gomu Gomu no….Bazooka!” Two arms passed by Vivi and landed on Moria's huge face, making him fall backward.

“Captain?” Vivi turned around and saw Luffy. He looked very tired, probably because he used that nightmare form to fight Oz. But he didn't seem very injured.

‘Moria must have recalled Luffy’s shadow from Oz when they were still fighting.’

“Vivi. Leave this guy to me!”  Luffy got into position as smoke started to appear on his body. “Gear….Second!“

“All yours, Captain.” Said Vivi.

The rest of the crew arrived a few seconds later and stood there, next to Her. Vivi breathed in relief to see that Nami was also there, and she looked very happy.

“Luffy is going to fight that thing?” Exclaimed Usopp.

“He is even bigger than Oz!” Said Chopper.

“There is no way our Captain will lose.” Said Sanji with confidence.

“Of course, He will win, you damn cook!” Spat Zoro.

“You guys look very animated after getting your asses kicked by that giant,” Said Vivi with a teasing tone.

“Shut up!” Shouted Zoro. He then crossed his arms and went back to look at Luffys fight.

“Gomu Gomu no…Jet rocket!” Luffy smashed his head against Moria's belly.

“Gwaaaa!” The Shichibukai screamed in pain as shadows came out of his mouth.

“Ew…gross” Commented Nami.

“He is spewing out the shadows!.” Exclaimed Franky.

“Moria is even slower than Oz in that form. He cannot get even close to touching Luffy.” Vivi pointed out.

“Gomu Gomu no…Jet bazooka!” Luffy slammed both his fists against Moria, making him scream again while more shadows poured out.

“He is just a big punching bag for Luffy, it seems.” Said Sanji.

“Aren't the shadows supposed to be under his control? how can he keep losing them?” Asked Nami.

“Look at his face!” Said Usopp. “He is losing consciousness, and control over his shadows.”

“He is right, Moria seems ready to pass out at any time.” Said Franky.

“The Captain could only hold one hundred for a few minutes. I guess even Moria will have its limits.” Said Robin.

“Gomu Gomu no…”

“I won't let you!” Yelled Moria. “Bat tricks!” He converted a huge amount of shadows into bats and made them fly to Luffy until he was completely surrounded.

“Shadow cage!” The mass of bats changed shape and turned into a black box that contained Luffy inside.

“Im going to crush you!” Moria punched the box with all his might, making the entire island shake as the ground shattered.

Moria then rose his feet and prepared to bring it down upon the box.

“This is your baptism! You bunch of amateurs…this is what you get for going against a Shichibukai!. This is the price you pay!” As he finished those words, Moria brought down his feet and completely smashed the ground where the black box was.

As He lifted its feet, they could see what was left of the very deformed box.

“People should know their limits…or else they will die in vain” Said Moria.

“Luffy!” Chopper and Brook shouted with worry.

“He is fine!” Vivi held the urge to roll her eyes. ‘If only they had put more effort into learning observation haki.’

Luffy broke out of the box and looked at Moria.

“You can say whatever you want, be it amateur or dying in vain…but no one can dream of defeating me!”

Moria was panting heavily. “I can’t defeat you? what exactly is the basis for that nonsense? The more you trash talk the more inexperienced you look.”

“You can't defeat me…because I am a rubberman!” Said Luffy with confidence.

He then entered his gear second form again.

“I am going to make spit every single shadow that you have taken!”

“Here I come.” Luffy brought his thumb to his mouth.

“Bone balloon!” His arm grew in size until it became massive.

“What?, He is using his gear second and third at the same time?” Exclaimed Franky.

“Luffy, don't overdo it!” Shouted Chopper with concern.

“Gomu Gomu no…Giant!” Luffy’s torso inflated like a balloon. 

“Jet shell!” He launched himself against Moria's body with tremendous force.

“AHH” Moria cried as more shadows left his body. He then covered his mouth to stop them from leaving.

“That bastard! he is preventing the shadows from coming back to their owners!” Said Sanji.

“Come on, Luffy! Give him one more!” Shouted Nami.

“Come on, Captain! You almost got it!” Vivi shouted too.

“Yeah!, super kick his ass!” Franky added.

Luffy was at his limit, but as always, he stood up once more.

“Jet…SHELL!“

Moria was defenseless while trying to prevent the shadows from leaving him so he could do nothing to stop Luffys attack as it landed right on his big belly.

Even with his colossal body, Moria flew some distance in the air by the force of the impact and landed on his back…defeated.

“Uraghhh…Strawhat….” He panted heavily. “Fine…go see for yourself what a nightmare awaits…in the New World.”

“Owaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!”

A stream of darkness spew out of Moria’s mouth as he lost the rest of the 1000 shadows he stole before he lost consciousness.
