Chapter 38: Enel

There were no more Shandians or Holy Soldiers left. Only Wiper, Laki, Zoro, Ohm, the giant snake, and Vivi.

She managed to witness the end of the Zoro's fight.

Ohm and Zoro were separated by a wall.

“Not bad for someone from the blue seas. You and your friends aren’t bad, but…I have now your heart in my sights! So it's time to pray, Swordsman of the blue seas.” Ohm said.

Zoro had his usual angry face.

“Idiot. Why should I pray?.”

“Pitiful...suit yourself.”

“Even though I can't see you through this wall, your sword will give away your position.” Zoro adopted his three-sword style posture.

Ohm laughed at his comment. “When that happens, you'll already be dead!”

The priest pierced the wall with his flexible sword but Zoro was ready for him.

“Three sword style: Phoenix slash!”

Zoro's attack cut through Ohms's iron cloud and continued until it slashed the Priest in his chest who then fell down, not moving again.

Vivi approached Zoro, who was bleeding quite a bit.

“You okay?”

Zoro gave her a glare and nodded.

“Then we should do something about the snake because the bazooka guy doesn’t seem to be doing much progress.”

Zoro mumbled something and then said. “How useless… let's go.”

“Sango!” They all heard a voice say.

A beam of light then came from the ground, destroying some of the ruins and leaving behind a giant hole.

“What the hell was that!” Zoro was alarmed.

“That was probably God Enel” Vivi didn’t want to show it but she was also quite startled. One thing was knowing about his power but it was a different thing witnessing it in person.

The ground then started to shake and it didn’t take long before it started to collapse.

“Shit!, the ground!. Chopper is over there!” Zoro pointed out behind Vivi.

She turned around and saw the unconscious body of her friend, laying on the shaking floor.

“I got it!... Water Jet!” She flew to his side and managed to grab Chopper before it all came crashing down.

She managed to stay afloat and waited for the debris to reach the ground before starting to descend.

She then spotted a familiar figure and bolted in that direction.

“There was another ruin up there?” Robin was looking at the remains of the ruins with a mix of awe and sadness.

“Robin!” Vivi called as she landed with Chopper in her arms.

“Princes, and…” She looked at Chopper state. “How is He?”

“Still alive, and…” Vivi looked around the mess of debris around them.

“Have you seen Zoro?... I swear if He got lost on the way down….”

A big rock behind them started to shake before it was lifted. There there it was, Zoro lifting the rock with one arm.

“Mr. Swordman. Did you fall too?”

“Dammit!” Zoro pushed the giant rock aside. “I almost died!”

“Well…a normal person would have certainly died.” Commented Robin.

Zoro looked around. “Where are we?”

“This is the golden city we were looking for. But I'm afraid there is no more gold.” Explained Robin.

“Oh…Nami is going to be devastated.” Added Vivi.

They then saw the giant snake rise up with its imposing figure.

“The snake made it here too. Not much of a surprise. Where are those two Shandians?” Zoro wondered.

The snake then did something that caught everyone by surprise. It started to emit a series of sounds that could be interpreted as singing.

They all saw Enel appear next to the snake with an ugly expression.

“You are being too noisy…You annoying snake!. God's judgment!”

A giant column of light engulfed the snake. After the light disappeared, the snake was left completely scorched and it probably fell down.

“Noo!!, Nami!” Zoro yelled.

“EH? Zoro?!” The voice of Nami was heard as she peeked her head from behind a rock. She then looked at the others. “Vivi, Robin! You guys are here too!”

“What? when did you get out of the snake?!” Zoro asked.

“Nevermind that, I'm fine, but….Luffy was still in there.” Said Nami.

“What is Luffy doing in there?.”

“I don’t know! He was there before me.”

A loud noise was heard and then they saw an explosion of fire a short distance away.

“Enel!!” The enrage voice of Wiper resounded in the ruins.

Enel dodged the fire from Wiper's bazooka, He then created a round cloud and sat on top.

“Hmph, is that how you repay me for bringing you to your ancient homeland?... Anyways, the game is not over yet.”

“Game? What game?” Wiper demanded an answer.

“A survival game of course! Three hours after the visitors from the blue sea arrived at Upper yard…how many people among the eighty-two contestants will survive?. I am also a contestant by the way. I even allowed some extra people to join after the game had already started.”

Then moved his gaze to scan the place.

“My prediction was that there would be only five survivors. In three minutes the time will be over…thus is quite problematic that there are eight survivors here.”

Vivi made a quick recount and realized that Enel was not counting Chopper even though He was still alive.

‘I guess his observation haki can't differentiate between unconscious and dead. I'm sure that the snake is also alive.’

While Zoro and the others started to approach Enel, Vivi went a bit further away and placed Chopper in a safe place, away from the fight.

‘He has taken enough damage. He should be fine here until it is all over, hopefully.’

She then approached Enel with the others.

“So… three people will need to be eliminated. Will you do it yourself or will I have to do it?.”

They all pointed their weapons at Enel.

“Why don’t we eliminate you?” Said Zoro.

Enel looked at them.

“Impudence!”
