aang said "i'm ready" in the avatar state when he first met roku s1 - i always get chills hearing his avatar state voice wheww. it's crazy how, even though momo was already free and the bee/vulture thing was moving on, aang still continued to attack it. it was completely out of character for him, as he's only ever fought in defense and/or when it was called for. it really goes to show how deeply aang is connected to his animal companions; him and appa/momo are the last known survivors of the southern air temple and he just really wants to hold onto whatever he can of his home )': anyway love this ep. it's just such good setup for all our main characters to go to ba sing se. looking forward to more reactions! thanks!

You're right in that it's all the past Avatar voices speaking with Aang! I think we've heard it before in prev episodes. The next episode on netflix is combines two episodes (since they were aired together originally)! It's up to you guys if you'd like to split them up, or watch them together. If you're crunched on time, I'd say it's alright to split this one up. You'll just be left on a cliffhanger. They often combine the season finales, and if anything, those might be more worth watching in one sitting.
