Hi everyone!

With my week-long break over (having cleared my commission and put my latest book together), I've been trying to get back into the groove of things and streaming more.

This month's featured stream may be a tad bit long (it's almost 3 hours in length) but covers both my inking and quick coloring process for this image below (that you may or may not have already seen on my Twitter):

I referred to this as my "quick color" process on the account that I don't focus too much on rendering highlights and in principle, is really about a splash of flat, base colors, then overlaying it with a "multiply" layer for shadows. The shadows are done as a full fill of the character shape, then slowly "carved" out to create zones where light would hit the subject. I did add a bit of colored light on the face and pecs to draw the viewers eyes where I want emphasis, and made the exception of highlighting the nips for effect. If you have any questions, feel free to post them to this thread!

Working on a whole new comic book project from scratch is admittedly daunting, no matter how many times you've done it before. Every new project presents a new set of creative and technical challenges, and I've been messing around trying to find the right rhythm.

I am still in my exploration phase, and should have more things to share start of June 2021. Thanks again for supporting me this month. Stay safe and take care!
