2018 Project Preview (Patreon)

Thank you for your patience and support. Here is an exclusive look at Meatier Showers: LIGHTSHOW - that will be the main focus of my Patreon project this year.

LIGHTSHOW is projected to be another 24 page black and white comic, and the second chapter in the current “Origins” story arc.

Most of my comics all start out as thumbnails with placeholder dialogues. I rarely if ever, work with scripts, as I approach the medium primarily from a visual discipline.

The thumbnails above lack detail of any sort because the primary objective is to first establish:

• story pacing
• story structure
• paneling & layout
• visual flow
• scene distribution

Once all that is laid out, the thumbnails can then be extrapolated into its first draft consisting of rough sketches and placeholder doodles.
