Content

We currently have other things planned in our schedule (refer to recent post) so this would not be right away, but we do want to gauge out your interest and thoughts on whether you want to see us react to the Fantastic Beasts trilogy in the future! We did the same with the Hobbit movies where we personally very much enjoyed them which was very divisive amongst LOTR fans.

This would only take us a few weeks to do.

Let us know your thoughts

Emily

The first movie? Sure. The rest? Not really 😭

Anonymous

Empire of the Sun by Steven Spielberg :)

MrMoleHole

Not interested personally, better things to watch sooner

Anonymous

While I’m not a fan of Fantastic Beasts, it’d be cool to see your reactions to different parts of the wizarding world.

Anonymous

Might be interesting to see you react to the hunger games series if you haven’t already seen them?

Anonymous

I think there’d be greater interest in the Hunger Games movies over fantastic beasts

Anonymous

I think it'd be worth watching just to see your opinions on it even though they aren't great movies

Anonymous

Should just watch rings of power on Amazon(:

Murshete

I personally would be satisfied with the HP reunion and then more than happy to close the book on HP

Jenna

The Hunger Games movies instead for sure 😊

Anonymous

In my opinion, despite being officially canon to the Harry Potter world, they feel a lot like fan fiction and ultimately lessened my love of the world. They’re not even close to being as good and are a bit of a mess, I wouldn’t recommend.

Slow Shadow

I would not bother for now. Maybe when that whole movies series is out and it ends in a good way then maybe. But now my opinion is the first movie is ok/fun but the other 2 i really didnt care about.

Minerva Ravenclaw

The movies are really bad ... Watch something better I'd suggest Pirates of the Caribbean at least the first three movies, or Hunger games, or Gen V it's a spinoff of the boys, it's super good and honestly apparently it's necessary

Erdanxela

I think most of us are interested in your reaction for hunger games or pirate of the Caribbean

Ry.Blair

Despite what everyone says the films aren’t bad. They just aren’t as good as Harry Potter. Also the JK Rowling drama doesn’t help with popular opinion. At the end of the day, it’s your decision if you want to carry on with the Harry Potter content

Ry.Blair

The films aren’t “really” bad they just aren’t up to the standards as the original films

Christopher

Until it has a clear ending I don’t see justifying wasting time on 3 movies of varying degrees of quality from decent to very bad with no resolution for who knows how many years (if the movies are finished at all)

Ailene Evangelista

If y’all want to watch it on your own time, you should, I think the first one is the best. But other than that, not worth it imo.

Anonymous

Yeah, but Hobbit was weaker prequel to great trilogy and had some really fantastic scenes. Still worth to see, at least once. The first Beasts are kind of on its level, the second are a frenzy, and the third have no plot, because... plot, so.

Ry.Blair

The next film is set to be filmed and released for 2025. I think the 3rd movie was the best in my opinion, the first one was good however the 2nd one was slow. I know many people don’t like it however I think they should at least be allowed to form their own opinions and watch it without other people telling them not to watch it

Erdanxela

so don't listen to you audience. Do you know democracy ? Fantastic beast are just a shame to the world of Harry potter. it doesn't respect his lore, character and beauty.

Minerva Ravenclaw

@Ryan Blair But they are ... They're poorly written except the first one it was decent. But the other two were catastrophic

Jonathan Giles

Would also recommend the return to hogwarts documentary

calum1

Honestly the reunion anniversary would be better

Zack Sutton

Huge Harry Potter fan books movies video games all that since the 3rd book came out. I don't recommend it unfortunately though. The anniversary is a much better watch.

Christopher

@Erdanxela If they listened to their audience and poll results, they wouldn’t be watching One Piece though so they’ve ignored polls in the past, so Aaron Jones request isn’t too outlandish lol

Joe Mags

I haven’t even finished the HP movies but I’m pretty sure the Fantastic Beast movies are worth the watch. That’s what I keep hearing from some mod named Sudden

imperial

Not sure if you guys are aware that it’s an unfinished story with no plans for continuation. It’s like watching the first 3 movies of Harry Potter and stopping there. There were plans for more, but it’s now dead in Hollywood. There are some great things about those movies, but why start a franchise that won’t be finished?

Anonymous

Do the first one. If it's not your cup of tea, drop it. Also the Fantastic Beasts movies are closer in quality to the main Harry Potter series more than Hobbit are to LOTR.

imperial

Lots of things I loved about the movies, but the franchise has been cancelled for now. They still need at least 3 movies to finish the story but those plans have been put on hold indefinitely. No point in watching.

Bean

It would be a tragedy if they reacted to this when there is literally anything else.

Justin Morgan

I would suggest skipping them and moving to The Hunger Games or Star Wars next.

FatLittleButterfly

Honestly, you're better off watching some classics like back to the future or Jurassic Park 😊

Anonymous

they are pretty bad tbh so yeah any other movie please

TwistedMagoo

Fantastic Beasts trilogy had a few good moments, but overall was pretty bad.

Paul

They aren't absolutely irredeemable, but there are so many better movies I'd love for you guys to watch. Is there a list of big titles that you guys haven't watched yet? Also, if there are movies that only one of you have seen, but the other hasn't, that would still make for good reactions!

Hans Engelen

ROFL, ya'll are too weird for words. Count me out.

midothegreat

I liked the first one, and Johnny Depp was a treat in the second one. The third one i don't really remember much of, kind of a forgettable movie in my opinion. I'd watch the reactions but wouldn't mind if other movies took it's place.

Steven

Christopher

They have no end in sight? Why dedicate time to watching and editing 3 movies and then waiting when they could watch other stuff now and pick these up later down the road IF a 4th movie is even ever made and as it currently stands doesn’t appear to be the case by Warner Bros

SuddenImpulse

I wouldn't be opposed to the first movie since its such a different side of the wizarding world, but the other 2 are astoundingly bad. The continuation of the movies seem to be in limbo and not looking good so it would be more to see that aspect of the world and a different focus. Wouldn't make sense to go into it expecting a conclusion to the story at present.

imperial

It’s an unfinished story that is now canceled indefinitely in Hollywood. What’s the point? Would you tell one of your friends to watch the first 3 Harry Potter movies only and stop there? And I don’t think anyone expected a “remake of Harry Potter”. We just expected a good story, and we might’ve gotten that with 4 more movies but the series has been cancelled.

Sebz

I dont like to be a doomer and just say no to suggestions you guys ask to patreons but the fantastic beast movies really were a bit of a let down for me :/ Shows and movies I would love to see off the top of my head include things like stranger things (amazing), pirates of the carrabean, the hunger games, squid games (amazing), prison break, Nobody (amazing), John Wick, mad max fury road(amazing), daredevil, the punisher and parasite ( amazing).

imperial

Hahahaha I had a feeling it was all lies. Sudden has better taste than that.

Ludus Aurea

Only problem with beasts is it’s meh and they kind of abandoned the story anyway

Anonymous

Let them react to it let them find out with us

Augustine Lee

For the love of good don’t react to this trash content

Anonymous

Please no

Miss_CJ

The only decent Fantastic Beasts movie to me was the first one. The other ones were pretty meh. Like someone suggested, the Harry Potter Reunion is much more anticipated and worth the watch

Anonymous

I would rather you guys watch Hunger Games.

Vish

I think the Harry Potter cast reunion or the games they did on HBO are more worth it than Fantastic Beasts if you want to do a finish of the universe. Fantastic beasts is whatever. The protagonists are insufferable, the plot is all over the place and not even the cute beasts make it worth it. Didn’t even watch the third one. Or A Very Potter musical if you like that sort of thing.

JIM SCHMITZ

Yes, but maybe wait a few months 'til your nostalgia level grows for HP World content.

Anonymous

I say watch the 20th reunion the fantastic beasts movies are good they take place in the HP universe and have over lapping characters but they are not Harry Potter. I think most people think they where getting just more HP and that’s not what it is. Just a fyi

DominaZeta

I'm OK with the Fantastic Beasts series, maybe because I didn't have any lofty expectations for it. It's certainly not as good as HP. Up to you. I do agree with others that I think you'd really enjoy Star Wars and Stranger Things in particular. Also, The Magicians is awesome: it's like grown-up HP but much grittier. Just watch whatever you want... ppl can like it or lump it.

The Film Effect

It’s just bad and unnecessary. I haven’t even seen the last one because the first two were so shitty.

Anonymous

so many better options out there, star wars if you want another series or maybe react to some more serious movies, Godfather, Interstellar, etc

AverageUsername

Star Wars or Godfather would be my suggestions

Anonymous

Not worth the time and effort. Hunger games would be much, much better

Anonymous

The first one is decent... just don't bother with the other two. 2nd was horrific and the third acted like it could be good, but ultimately wasn't because they wanted to make a 4th. 4th movie will never be made lol

BluePanda

They're not good. I haven't even seen the last one - which is crazy to think since i loved the original movies so much.

Anonymous

Star Wars, LOST, Hunger games, way more worth

Daniel Castro

I'd much rather you guys do MovieFlame explain videos on Harry Potter.

SuddenImpulse

Its not about not making content. They have limited time and workload. Whenever something gets done, that means something else gets pushed back. The movies, by and large, reviewed terribly outside of the first film, both critic and regular consumer opinion is that they are worthy of a low rating. The second film has a 6.5 average out of 300k reviews on IMDB. The third film has a 6.2. Those are the BEST ratings of the 3 review sites IMDB, Metacritic and RottenTomatoes. They are worse on those. In addition to that the story is incomplete and looks quite likely to either be in a lengthy limbo or is on its way to being officially canceled. The box office and ratings for them were bad enough to put a hold of the films. So they would be watching 3 films, which most people think 2/3rds of are bad, with zero conclusion, which would likely take multiple films as well, aka multiple years. Personally, I wouldn't mind them watching the first one only, so they can experience another perspective on the wizarding world and different aspects of it, but its a pretty hard sell to warrant all 3 when theres dozens and dozens of super famous, super well-reviewed across the board movies they have never seen that will pull in far better (like without a doubt) viewership than Fantastic Beasts and be an altogether better and more complete experience, be they movie series or standalone films. Its absolutely understandable many people would rather have them watch the Reunion thing and then move on to one of the countless major widespread acclaim films of the last 20 years they haven't seen. We all wish the other 2 films were better, but they just aren't.

Anonymous

Netflix Shadow and Bone is great if you guys havent watched it

Tom Ekstrand

Here's a definite one to do, and no copyright issues. While most fan-made films are trash, there is a Harry Potter one that's about James Potter, Serius, Remus, and Peter when they were young called "Serverus Snape and the Marauders." It's of excellent quality and the casting, effects, and acting are top-notch. Only a half hour long. https://youtu.be/EmsntGGjxiw?si=EJdddhjpghgIjeL2.

Anonymous

They are Okay .Not exciting as Harry potter ..but you can clear more things about magical world...For example who is Voldermots snake..? Things about Dumbledore's Family.

SuddenImpulse

Star Wars Hunger Games Pirates of the Carribbean The Last Samurai Gladiator Troy The Butterfly Effect The Departed The Mummy (Brendan Frasier one) Blood Diamond Saving Private Ryan Inception Dune Logan Arrival Sicario Sinister The Prestige Terminator Lord of War Haunting of Hill House Indiana Jones Ex Machina Shogun Mission Impossible Jurassic Park Jumanji Altered Carbon S1 Forrest Gump Gen V Westworld S1 Dark The Expanse Dexter V for Vendetta Kingsman 1 Sherlock Holmes (RDJ) Annihilation 21 Jump Street Neighbors Game Night Horrible Bosses The Invisible Man Mulan Road to El Dorado Shutter Island Into the Spiderverse The Patriot Oculus Shanghai Knights Remember the Titans Emperors New Groove Minority Report Talladega Nights Crimson Peak Million Dollar Baby Alien Prey Catch Me If You Can Blood Diamond Lots of great stuff that is better than these films. I could add another 300 alternatives lol.

connie

First one is good, the rest...eh. If you haven't seen Hunger Games trilogy, would love that reaction.

Anonymous

Do Kung Fury!

Anonymous

I thought they were pretty bad but i would prefer it over the hunger games 😅 I would love to see you guys react to stranger things.

Joe Mags

Please add: -Birdemic -The Room -6-Headed Shark Attack -Llamageddon -Velocipastor -All of Steven Seagal’s movies -Tiger King -Game of Bones

Simon

Harry Potter movies were amazing. Fantastic Beasts is a shittier version of Harry Potter. I watched 1 & 2. 1st was ok. 2nd was difficult to get through. I couldn't bring myself to watch the 3rd.

conrad

I just think might as well dive into it. It’s not a big commitment. After that, The Hunger Games. Hehe

Ben M

The story never finishes and likely will never finish. So I don't see the point

Anonymous

I'd say the first one is worth watching for sure, but the other two are utter garbage. (Coming from a hardcore harry potter fan)

Anonymous

I voted 'Yes' just for the first movie, but to be honest, I agree with some of the others who have said that the rest don't really need to be watched. I could have easily voted 'No' if an alternative option (what you'd view first) had been given (see Sudden's list above, lol).

Khalayx

I mean this respectfully, but everyone has their own ideas for which movies would be great reactions. If you trimmed this down to the ones that would be most exciting to you, that might be helpful? This is such a long list that your best/favorite ideas are probably being diluted by the rest. Just my two cents.

Anonymous

This is the official "Haunting of Hill House" push button. :D <3

Julianjjz

really doesnt come close to harry potter

Anonymous

lads it's an incomplete movie series, that's essentially been cancelled. They ain't making new ones any time soon. They're pretty badly received other than the one which was OK to mid.

Professor Rizzard The Third

You’ve probably seen them but the original Jurassic park and lost world for movie nights, love the original two. Even have a soft pot for 3 tho I understand why people don’t like it

Professor Rizzard The Third

Honestly I think it actually dilutes the whole wizarding world, they were sub par films. I know people like the first one but even that was very meh.

Professor Rizzard The Third

Sorry to people who liked them but they are bad, they aren’t unwatchable but as someone who read the books as they came out and watched every movie they just don’t have the spirit of HP. I wish they did but they didn’t. Tbh a prequel with James lupin, Sirius lily etc leading up to the order of the phoenix would have been so much better to make

john

Not really worth it to be honest.

Anonymous

Pirates Of the Caribbean ..

Anonymous

I wouldn't bother, they're not great imo

Anonymous

Catch me if you can & The Hunger Games series

Rasegy Buldiga

The first movie was a pretty good spin-off but the second one was pretty bad and I heard the third one is even worse.

Jhazzrun

its just bad all around. doesnt feel like the same world at all.

Anonymous

28 days later, 28 weeks later, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Rush. These are some of my favorite films that I feel don’t get the recognition they deserve. I feel like they are very reactable as they have developed their own sorts of cult followings throughout the years. You guys are the best reactors I’ve encountered and the only reactors I still watch. Keep it up! Much love from Colombia!

Anonymous

HP Reunion, Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy, Seasons 1-4.5 of modern Doctor Who (personal preference).

Paul Anderson

I say go ahead with it. It's as different from the original films as you can get, but some of it holds up really well. I found the differences between the American ministry of magic and the one in the OG films interesting.

Anonymous

The first one is enjoyable. The 2nd one and third one are worse. And the series just fizzles out. But I'd say the same for the Hobbit trilogy, and you liked those!

doctor 89

All I know is this: the next trilogy you should consider to watch is my personal favorite one: The Godfather. 😍

Kaboose

Id put them at the same level of the Hobbit Trilogy, most serious fans don't appreciate them as much as they probably should, and they're not BAD movies, they just fall flat compared to the original movies that made us fall in love with the universe.

Brock Percle

Same situation with hobbit, they aren’t as good as the originals but they’re good for what they are and still has it’s moments of brilliance

Owen Hargrave

If you want to watch a goated trilogy then The Godfather is unreal. First two are highly regarded as some of the greatest films ever and iconic and influential in cinema. Star Wars is a very popular franchise and is so iconic and influential in cinema too. Hunger Games is great and newer and different to the other two. I'd say to watch all 3 as they're all great but also different so will bring a variety of people to your channel. Godfather is the one though for the highest quality of cinema you'll find from a technical standpoint, also get to see arguably the 3 greatest male actors ever in the trilogy in Marlon Brando, Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.

doctor 89

Yeah, I just rewatched them on Netflix. To be fair I wonder if Spartan could know this,I think he might 🤔

Anonymous

Same deal as the Hobbit films - you may like them and that's okay but the general consensus is that they were not that good. I don't think your audience will be nearly as invested in reactions to the Fantastic Beast films because there isn't much reason to be invested in the films themselves. Not to mention, they only released 3 out of 5 planned films and have suspended production on the final two. They more than likely won't be made, so you'll be left watching a couple of middling movies with several open plot lines that will never be resolved. You'd be much better off avoiding these in my opinion.

Michael Weiner

The Harry Potter reunion special is highly enjoyable. I’d love to see you react to that.

Doms

Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts

Golladan

For what it's worth, I found all 3 Fantastic Beasts entertaining. I wonder how many people are voting No because they want the Reunion instead.

Anonymous

The Fantastic Beasts movies were not good imho.

KP

Snooooze compared to Potter

Anonymous

For me there are good movies, if u don't compare them to the original saga, more darker than HP but the acting and the plot are great.

imperial

They’re voting No because it’s an unfinished story that is currently dead in the water with no plans of continuing. It’s like watching the first 3 Harry Potter movies and stopping there. What’s the point?

Golladan

Do you wait for a series to be finished before watching it? Or do you watch it not knowing if it will be finished? The movies work well as a standalone set. There is very little left unexplored at the end. Just like the first 3 HP movies. Yes, there is potential for more, but you're not really left hanging.

imperial

If I had a reaction channel, then yes of course, I would obviously wait until the entire movie series is finished before I start recording reactions to it. I just don’t understand this interest in wanting them to watch an unfinished series that has been canceled in Hollywood because the last movie was so bad and the story has gone nowhere 🤦‍♂️

Golladan

Well that's what you'd do if you had a reaction channel. They, on the other hand, have reacted to unfinished series before. Witcher? The Boys? House of the Dragon? As I've said before, the trilogy does a good job of wrapping up the various plotlines it introduced.

Anonymous

Dang so sad

imperial

Those series are all successful and have been greenlit for multiple seasons. You can’t compare it to a movie series that had 8 movies planned and got cancelled after #3. I ask again - why watch a series that has no chance of concluding?

imperial

I think the biggest problem that you and many others have is that you view Fantastic Beasts as a “trilogy” when it’s actually a failed endeavor of 8 planned movies. A trilogy would mean a complete story. And It’s not complete.

A.D

I think the more popular opinion is the 20th anniversary (its worth it imo), the comments on your deathly hallows part 2 was almost nothing but asking for it - as for fantastic beasts, the 1st is decent I like it but the rest I don't care for (and im a big hp fan)

Golladan

And the problem that you have is that you see it as a "failed endeavor of 8 planned movies" and ignore that the 3 movies tell a concise story with the third movie literally concluding the arcs set up by the previous movies.

Owen Hargrave

They would be right up Spartans ally imo, Pudgey would definitely get into them too I feel.

SuddenImpulse

Pudgey actually watches a lot more crime oriented stuff than Spartan does, based on what they have said.

SuddenImpulse

JK Rowling seems to think there was a lot more of the story to tell considering she said she wanted it to be 5 movies long. It also doesn't help that the last 2 films are some of the worst films I have ever watched, and based on critic and user scores on ever rating website, most people seem to agree they are quite bad.

SuddenImpulse

S&P already know my preferences for priority content, this was more just ideas to throw around that people might want to mention they are also interested in. Majority of the stuff on this list are things that have been requested a fair bit within the community over the last year or so. Wasn't meant to be too serious a post but I appreciate the critique, what you said makes sense.

Khalayx

Thank you for taking it well. Looking through the list again, I'm kind of a sci-fi nerd I guess because that's what all of my picks from your list ended up being haha. For Movies: Dune, Arrival, and Inception (probably in that order). Altered Carbon S1 was great and its been awhile, I would totally watch that. I'm burned out on Expanse and had mixed feelings in the first place, but it seems to do really good things for reaction channels / has a very passionate community.

Lucas

Some of the worst irrelevant spin-offs for any franchise- period i'm straight serious lmao

Nicole Herd

Hmm, at first I thought YES but then I realised, actually only the first one was good.

Trent Claycomb

These movies are the biggest pile of garbage in recent memory. No thanks

Anonymous

Hate these movies, a classic hollywood Americanization of a UK based classic

Anonymous

I don't like these movies either, but hard to say it was classic Hollywood Americanization when it was written by J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves (same as HP films), produced by David Heyman (same as HP films), and directed by David Yates (same as final four HP films).

Erdanxela

the issue is not it is finished or not. It is that these movies are garbage non-sense with bad plot, story, bad characters and they are not worth watching (except maybe the first one which is mid). It is a shame for the harry potter world.

Erdanxela

I mean the hobbit are really great movie. They are not just at the same level than Lord of the rings whereas fantastic beast are just bad movies.

Golladan

The same could be said about the Hobbit movies, and they seemed to enjoy them.

Anonymous

You should do the anniversary video instead ✨

Demo

There's things to watch in your own time and then things to watch for content. The fantastic beast movies are in no way good content lol There are so many better options to watch.

MOVIE NIGHT PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSEEE. I love shows, but a movie would be a great change of pace

Aditya

The first one is good. The rest are hot garbage.

Anonymous

Godfather would be the absolute deam

Anonymous

PLEASE just watch it, I think it you like magic you will love it.!!!

Anonymous

don't watch it, it will RUIN your harry potter experience

Anonymous

Godfateanher or Pirates of the Carribeans 1 to 3

doctor 89

OMG Pirates of the Carribeans would be great for them 🥰 I totally forget about it!

Alex

please watch 20 year anniversary of harry potter, it's not long. instead of fantastic beats.

Garrett Serbin

Pirates of the Carribean is a decent series for the first 3 movies. First movie is amazing.. Still think Vikings would be a good show even if Spartan has seen it cuz Pudgy hasnt & it would be interesting since its up both your alleys

Garrett Serbin

Star Wars would be great for attracting new ppl but it's a big undertaking.

Dan Marsh

star wars or hunger games

Anthony Fisher

start wars, all of it, everything

Jose

I vote for that trilogy😭😩🫶🏻

BigTim86

Yes, all of Star Wars would be epic; and would keep you busy for a while.

Sebastrian Velarde

star wars! will attract a lot of new people from the star wars community

Hans Engelen

Ok against better judgement ... Yes ... I don't get the point of a poll like this. Now if the poll was 'which should they watch first' and then a list of movies including others besides the beasts set that I would get. But why not let them watch it. People who want to see the reaction can, people who don't like the movies and want no reaction can just ignore the reaction when it is posted. Everyone happy. Hell there are dozens of reactions here that I will never watch (I don't care for anime, never have) but that doesn't mean I don't want other to have the pleasure...

SuddenImpulse

Star Wars is definitely on the docket, its more a matter of when than if. =)

SuddenImpulse

The unfortunate problem is there is a tendency for reactions where 1 person has seen it already to get hurt in the viewership department. A lot of people would just rather watch when everyone is completely blind, even if its reactors they really like, so those types of situations you have to be careful with, especially if they are long-running series, equaling a lot of time and work investment.

SuddenImpulse

Like David said...the principal people involved that worked on making this what it was were overwhelmingly English. This is a very weird and seemingly uninformed complaint. The reasons why these movies are a downgrade has been explained in-depth in many journalistic write-ups and it has nothing to do with "Americanization".

SuddenImpulse

The Hobbit movies have their issues but as a whole they are wildly better films both individually and together compared to the Fantastic Beast films, and the general critic and public reviews and reception between those two movie sets very much highlights that. The Hobbit films aren't bad films, its jut that LotR trilogy was outstandingly good.

leon rougier

The first one is okay'ish but 2 and 3 are a complete waste of time and personally they also kind of destroyed my love for the magic of the harry potter world. Considering this, IMO its not worth it to even watch the first one if the continuation just sucks so much. After the first movie they had a bunch of trouble finding a new actor for grindlewald because of the whole johnny depp drama and it shows in the quality of the movies.

Anonymous

I can't believe they haven't done star wars already, their channel would literally explode

Anonymous

In my opinion its the Americanization. I absolutely despise all the characters, and they are caricatures of American people, the fat new yorker man, the brassy woman. Dont get me started on the main character, his acting is absolutely horrific, borderline awkward and uneasy to watch, and he is their token british character we are supposed to like. Not to mention it was written by JK after the fact, when she was clearly being paid to write more for more movies, give us more content!! Its a different motive than just trying to write good stories.

Golladan

On Rotten Tomatoes: 1st Hobbit Movie Audience Score 83% vs 79% 1st Fantastic Beasts Movie 2nd Hobbit 85% vs 54% 2nd FB 3rd Hobbit 74% vs 83% 3rd FB Aside from the 2nd movies, the difference isn't that big. So your assertion just doesn't stick. Yes, I didn't look at critic reviews as critics are literally paid to criticize stuff and are not really representative of the regular audience's opinion.

Jonathanese

Wait, have they not seen Star Wars? That would be a SUPERB choice. And if things slow down for them, they would have backup content for YEARS.

Thomas Heap

that show is god awful and does not even stick to source material. its not cannon

Radek Nohejl

I am not sure i will continue with patreon support. I love scifi and fantasy movies/series. Thats i would like something this - best option i think is scifi serie "The Expanse" - best scifi serie of last 10 years. And has 5 season = good lenght (not short).

SuddenImpulse

Spartan said this is definitely on the list to be reacted to in the future!

SuddenImpulse

There are quite a few Expanse fans both within the community and the mod team, so its more a matter of when than if. Trust me I want it bad as well haha. =)

Dasypodidae

Important to note is that J.K. Rowling has actually written and co-written the screenplays of the fantastic beasts movies. So the story come from the same brain as the original Harry Potter stories.

Garrett Serbin

You two would LOVE the show ROME. Its an older HBO show but one of the best 2 season shows ive seen. Shorter so won't take forever to get through, learn about history as the show tries to be fairly historically accurate, great acting/writing/action. Game of Thrones b4 there ever was game of thrones
