Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

  • Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously

  • Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side

  • Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop

  • HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

  • Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

  • Use Google chromes picture in picture mode to overlay your own copy of the show over our reaction in a smaller window size (Link to the extension here: ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en )

Fun fact: Suddenimpulse started watching the BoB intro when he was a child. He is now 80 years old and it still hasn't finished.

Hands down my favorite episode of the series. Brilliant filmmaking.

"Pour vous" indeed means "for you". Imagine stepping/falling into a German occupied foxhole 😬 Spartan, blink twice if Pudgey is holding you hostage.

Stephen Knueppel

My grandfather was serving in Patton's 3rd Army on the drive to "rescue" the 101st Airborne. He was hit by a tree burst and suffered extensive shrapnel and splinter wounds to his face and chest. He spent several months in the hospital but was able to rejoin his unit in April for the final drive into Germany. The powder you see them sprinkle on wounds was sulfa powder. An early antibiotic mixed with a clotting agent to protect the wound and slow the bleeding. The Battle of the Bulge was Germany's last major offensive on the western front.

Confirmed. Pudgey is not a language expert. 🤣

Lyn Hurst

I got chills watching this. My grandfather was a medic in the Battle of the Bulge. Unbelievable. He passed away about 12 years ago, but the stories. I couldn't grasp how intense it must have been, but watching this gave me a better perspective. It's one thing being in a place where you can put on an extra layer of clothing or come in from the cold. Fires being dangerous is scary because you can freeze to death or lose a toe or foot to frostbite if you live through the battles.

The reason they drew an M on the wounded soldiers forehead was to mark them as having had morphine administered to them so that they don't get anymore given to them at the aid station.

TwistedMagoo

Just fyi, the General was completely encircled with everybody else. So, I'm sure they were more comfortable then the soldiers in the foxholes, but he wasn't arriving from outside the area...at that point nobody could.

Robin Lee Melendez

Such an excellent episode. My late grandfather & great uncle both fought in the Battle of the Bulge. They survived but took some injuries, shrapnel mostly. They never talked about what they experienced, not ever. They used to joke that it took YEARS after that winter to get warm again. Watching this series really brings home how young they were, just boys really. When my grandfather returned from fighting in Europe he weighed just 130 lbs & his dark hair had gone completely white. The color never came back.

Jeremy Wellman

Australia doesn’t teach world history I guess lol

Kyle Naylor

During WW1 on Christmas day a British and German battalion had a cease fire football match, before returning to their trenches to fight each other again

Craig Nickum

No, that wasn't Dike with the injured leg.

Both nurses (Renée Lemaire and Auguste Chiwy) were from Bastogne. They were home for Christmas. Renee on the night the church was destroyed pulled 7 men out of the burning church and was killed when she went in for an 8th. Auguste survived and lived until 2015. They, both, were called the Angels of Bastogne. The town has honored them with a monument. Also, the paratroopers returned Renee's body to her parents wrapped in a parachute.

Xander

These guys were a different breed of humans, the mental strength it would take, I can't even imagine. Guy's almost losing feet to trench foot, doesn't matter "I don't want to come off the line."

Helene Ring Teppan

This is the most draining episode, so personal and so horrible. Next few ones are also incredible.
