Christian and Nadine had been friends ever since they were little. They were as close as could be, and to Nadine, Christian was the best person on the planet. He was the first one she came out to when she discovered she liked girls.

Christian was nothing but supportive and did everything he could to support her, even pretending to date her while she was still in the closet with her family. Whatever she needed he was there and willing to do.

This ultimately created a problem for Nadine. Christian was such an amazing and sweet problem she ended up falling in love with him, well she fell in love with him on the inside, he was still male on the outside, and she just couldn’t make herself get over that fact.

This caused her a ton of confusion, it made no sense to her that she fell in love with him when she clearly liked women. She tried over and over again to forget about her feelings, she even dated a few girls, and the relationships weren't bad, but they just didn’t feel right.

Christian still unaware of her true feelings also dated a few girls, but like her they didn’t last long for one reason or another. As bad as she felt about it, she was always jealous when he was dating as he spent a little bit less time around her.

So here they were on their way to their private school's plaza to prepare for the countdown until midnight and the new year started. It was going to be a big event, with tons of food stalls and fireworks, and it was the first time their school had its own ball drop.

Since they were both single and there was no way either was getting a date for the event last minute, they decided to go as friends, which was Nadine’s idea. They arrived about an hour before midnight and Christian parked his car a couple blocks away since it was so busy.

They walk over to the plaza, and the two begin exploring all the stalls. Nadine buys a ton of food and insists on feeding bits to Christian, who is more than happy to receive free food. Christian gets her to follow him to a few stalls that have carnival-like games.

After losing at every game Nadine convinces Christian to follow her up to a secret balcony on the school's second floor. She grabs his hand and pulls him through the halls and up the stairs, and the two sneak through the principal's office.

When they got onto the balcony Christian was amazed that they could see the entire school and that it was the perfect spot to watch from. Then he questioned if it was okay for them to be up there, but Nadine brushed off his concerns saying that was a problem for later.

It was now about a minute from midnight and Christian was leaning on the railing looking around and having a great time looking over everything, and Nadine was watching him. At first, she was happy seeing him happy, but then her feelings for him came back up, and she found herself saddened.

She closed her eyes. She was never one to believe in things like wishes, but she was willing to try it out tonight. She wished that tonight she would find the love of her life and finally be able to move on from this unobtainable love with Christian.

Nadine heard Christian step back and she opened her eyes to see him looking down at himself. She watched as his body shanked down until he was an inch shorter than her. His hair grew out, becoming straight silky purple hair.

He didn’t seem panicked, more curious. Maybe he wasn’t sure if this was actually happening to him, but Nadine continued to watch in total disbelief, as she had a very good idea what was happening to her friend, and she was trying really hard not to seem excited about it.

His body mass started to shift around. His once semi-muscular body became thin and soft, moving all that extra mass to areas like his butt, thighs, and of course, his chest to create two plump breasts exactly the size Nadine prefers.

He raised an eyebrow and reached his hands up to touch them, when he realized they were real his eyes got wider, but he didn’t stop touching them. As Christian did, his wasit began to shrink and all hair other than on his had vanished.

He rubbed his face, he didn’t have much facial hair before, but his face was definitely more feminine. His nose had shrunk and pointed upwards, almost making him look like a cute kitten, especially with his bigger eyes.

He went right back to playing with his breasts when his eyes got really wide and he reached her hands down to grab her crotch. She said something about her dick vanishing and it feeling empty down there.

That’s when she noticed her voice had completely changed, and she reached up to her throat. She then asked if she randomly just turned into a woman, or was some of the food they ate spiked with some sort of drug?

Nadine couldn’t muster up a word, she was seeing exactly what Christian saw, so it had to be real. Christian’s clothes suddenly started to change, she went from wearing a baggy teeshirt and jeans to a gorgeous black ball dress.

She had a matching pair of heels and detached sleeves. Nadine held her face, Christian looked beautiful, more than beautiful she was perfect. Christian asked if Nadine was okay, that’s when the ball finished dropping and Christian turned to look at it.

Christian said it was midnight then turned back to figure out what was going on with her. That’s when Nadine couldn't keep her excitement in any longer. She ran up close to Christian, grabbed her hand, and pulled her in for a kiss just as the fireworks started going off.

Christian wasn’t entirely sure what was happening, but she liked it and closed her eyes. The two share a long kiss for a minute as firework after firework goes off in the background. Nadine opened her eyes and told Christian she loved her more than anything.

Christian opened her eyes and looked at Nadine who was still holding her hand. She asked if this was some sort of dream, as there was no way Nadine would kiss her otherwise since she was normally a guy.

Nadine told her about her wish and that this was all very real, and Christian was far from being a guy anymore. She then also apologized for transforming her, she really had no idea this was how her wish would be fulfilled.

Nadine was expecting Christian to be mad at her, but she just smiled and turned red. She then confessed that she’s had a huge crush on Nadine since they were kids, and it actually devastated her to find out she was into other girls.

Despite that, Christian only ever wanted Nadine to be happy, so even knowing it wasn't possible, she decided to support Nadine in anything. She never imagined becoming a girl was a possibility, but now that she was one, if it meant being with Nadine she’d remain one forever.

Nadine started to tear up and pulled Christian in again saying she loved her so much. Christian looked a bit embarrassed and said the name Christian wasn’t really going to work for her anymore, then joked about a few new names.

Nadine stops her when she says the name Melody, saying it just felt right, almost like it was always meant to be her real name. Melody says it a few times and nods agreeing with her, then she suggests the two seal it in with another kiss.

Another kiss as fireworks go off passes, and suddenly Melody and Nadine hear someone yelling at them from the ground. It was the principle and he was yelling at them for being up there, and he was on his way to scold them.

Nadine smiled at Melody who smiled back, the two held hands and Nadine pulled Melody through the principal's office once again and they made their escape, all while Melody learned how to not only walk in heels but run.

Melody had fallen a few times, but Nadine would immediately pick her back up onto her feet and was even trying to teach her how to use them, and as embarrassing as it was, Melody couldn't help but feel happy about it.

Once the two had escaped the principal and gotten back to the main plaza where the festivities were, they continued to enjoy the rest of their night. It was the first night of the new year and the first night of the rest of their amazing loving lives together. Happy New Year Melody!
