DevLog #41: September Status Update (Patreon)

Hello!
As planned, Light Fairytale Episode 1 is now fully released on Xbox One!
If you've missed it, here's the store page:

I've also improved the battle system a bit, replacing the ATB-style timer by a turns system, which results in faster battles and a bit more strategy - as you can now see the order of the commands and actions.
Here's a video showcasing the changes:

Quick update on the PlayStation 4 port: I did says last time that I've put it on hold due to the expensive rating requirements. Well, I've actually restarted working on this and it's close to done!
The problem is that I will initially release it only in the SIEA territories (US) as the rating there is free. If the game is successful enough, this will help fund the paid PEGI rating for the SIEE territories (Europe). Unfortunately either ways, I won't be able to release in Japan as the CERO rating is both expensive and difficult to get.
It seems that full IARC rating support on PS4 won't be available for a while - that's why I've decided to do it the old way, even if it will be more limited / difficult / costly.
Now for some Episode 2 news: I expected it to be ready for release around this December on Steam. Unfortunately due to the work on the console ports - taking much more time than planned, the release will probably happen early next year. Sorry for the wait! The good news is that both the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Episode 2 will release much faster than for Episode 1 - as most of the platform specific things are already in place!
Here's a couple screenshots from Episode 2:
And here's a comparison of the same location, between an early prototype and the current build:
Good news for Night Riders fans: I've started planning for the next game in the series, which will probably called Super Night Riders S2 (Season 2).
Here's the design of Yoko, Alice's greatest rival!
Bonus, here's a 1440p wallpaper of the new keyart of Light Fairytale Episode 1, which was slightly altered for the Xbox One release.
And that's it!
Again, thank you so much for your support. See you next time!
