Hello!

Light Fairytale is now playable in French since EA patch #6!

This is the main new feature, but I've also improved a few things. Full changelog here.

Unfortunately this update required much more time than planned - around 6 weeks. So my plans have slightly changed.

Though I now have a fixed release date for the full version (out from EA) of Light Fairytale Episode 1 on Steam: 27 May 2019!

This update was also the occasion to implement this Patreon campaign's new Special Thanks tier reward for the first time: the supporters screen! Here's how it looks like:

As planned, the first official Light Fairytale T-shirt is available in the goods section. I've also added a few more variations with only the front illustration - which are less expensive than the dual-sides versions.

In 2013, I wasn't using Unity yet. I created my own game engine built from scratch, targeting Android using my phone at that time - the Galaxy Nexus.

This was coded in pure Java + GPU acceleration via OpenGL ES 2. Some of it's features were dynamic shadows, depth of field, skinned character animation, heightmaps based collisions and more!

For testing these features, I've made many quick game prototypes. Here's a look on a racer thing prototype, which ended becoming Super Night Riders 3 years later.

And here's another RPG thing prototype, this one ended becoming Light Fairytale many years later!

Bonus, here's a 1440p wallpaper from Light Fairytale in the attachments bellow.

This is an early concept artwork of Lower City - the first playable city in the game.

And that's it!

Thank you again for the support. See you next time!
