MG Barbatos - can it do the box pose? (Patreon)

A small mission of mine is to try copy the box art for any of the kits that I built. Not just the pose, but the actual framing of the shot itself. So when it comes to the this rather cool shot of the Barbie smashing through the Graze with the mace, can the MG replicate it?

Well, kinda.

After some trying, it looks like the MG isn't able to crunch its waist quite as much as the artist drew it, plus the leg can't actually raise that high (the skirt is blocking the movement).

So to get this shot, an action base is necessary to give the kit a bit of height so we can pull some camera trickery. By shooting from slightly above and tilting the camera we can kinda give the illusion of a bit of an ab crunch and get the same vibe as the box. Shooting with a wide angle (24mm) lens also makes the mace look bigger.
