Hello Outlanders! I am beginning my season 2 journey of Outlander and it is off to a very good start. I have so many questions and I am excited to see how this season plays out.

2023-04-11 01:24:58 I absolutely agree with your observation on cellular memory... I'm a part of the pagan/witchy/esoteric world & many of us believe in the idea of working with our ancestors trying to heal the familial line. Idea being that our cells hold the trauma of our ancestors so if we can do the healing work within the present it'll span across all timelines/family lines. Obviously, that's a very simplified way of explaining it within a few words but... ya, many people agree with what you said:)

Oh this is really cool, thank you for sharing this with me! No idea this was a theory in other circles! But it seems very in your face so its easy for me to accept.

The ring that Claire has is the ring that She or Frank lost (cant remember who) that she went to the stones for from the first time she traveled.

Tara

Unfortunately, the information above regarding a lost ring is not accurate. At the time, Claire is not aware that a gem stone is needed to go through the stones. The first time she went through, she was wearing a watch with a jewel. At the beginning of this episode, we see her looking at a ring that is missing the jewel and she frantically looks in the grass for it. She had that ring with her when she returned to the present, To think though, if she hadn't been wearing that watch, she never would've gone back in time or if she didn't have that jeweled ring, she wouldn't have been able to return.
