My favorite season beginning ever! So immediately disorienting. I also checked that it was the right episode the first time. But then you're sucked back in by Caitriona's heart-wrenching performance. As she heads down the hill and numbly accepts reality, you accept that the show has a plan.

In other words, the family tree showed Black Jack as Frank's great great great great great grandfather. Claire going back in time from present time Boston makes no sense if Jaime died at the Battle of Culloden -- Jaime would be dead when she arrived back in time. She could go back in time to visit Jamie's grave (If there is a grave), and visit live people. Claire is lucky to have Frank. After agreeing to remain his wife, I hope she honors that agreement by loving him as a husband.
