Well, you made it! Very hard to watch and it went too long, in my opinion, every time I try to re-watch it via reaction, I have to look away. But now onto France!!

Other than being portrayed by the same actor, Black Jack reminds me nothing of Frank. For me, Claire would be fortunate to have Frank if she were in present time. Keep in mind that the family tree showed a 7 generation difference -- a very diluted DNA contribution from Black Jack to Frank. Per episode 1x1, Black Jack is the great great great great great grandfather of Frank.

Sexual violence in Outlander was characterized by ENews as "the most graphic and disturbing rape scenes ever to air in the history of television." I generally don't rewatch 1x15 or 1x16, or I will do some fast forwarding.
