I'm really interested to hear your opinions on this episode. I think what happened between 2 of the characters was quite controversial (you'll know who once you watch lol I don't want to give anything away). And I'm curious if you feel similarly to me about it or if you have a different take.

I think with the way the story is going with the overall series, it’s going to be amazingly unique no matter what people are going to say. Yes, they may have the limelight for their representation of LGBTQ+ (which I thought was sort of hamfisted, but they have expanded the world enough to where that’s not the only thing that is going for it… (I know that’s a touchy subject, and I’m game to have an open discussion about it, but that’s for another day, another time) Kind of like the way Hunter X Hunter’s, and Adventure Time’s world is so large, that discovering it as you go is just as a treat seeing the character’s interact with it. Now, with the entire Emperor's Coven, and the way their “rule” over The Boiling Isles, and the way magic is regulated and in a way ,segregated, is a kind of old story trope. But the way I feel like they are going about it is unique enough that it’s going to change the dynamic of the world in a way that I don’t even want to guess what they’ll do. Just get some popcorn and enjoy the show. I mean look at the fighting animations! I follow one of the storyboard/animators that worked on the show, and just the amount of work that they put into that is such a testament to how much they like working on the show (I can’t know for sure lol. They can be just that good! lol . But I’m going to see if they’re available in the near future for what I’m working on.(evil laughter) I was surprised how they fit all of the story and emotion into King’s story. (Can not express how cute baby King was. I mean, I can. A 6’3” 325lb man squealed at such a high volume that his cat got scared…) Did King’s father fight the Emperor? And if he did, why, and what happened to the other demons? Is King capable of being strong like the pictures on the walls indicated his father was? Will the truth turn King against Luz and the rest of the Owl House? And what kind of other glyph magic and the Witches learn? (Another question I have is mostly about King’s title? Prince King? If he becomes King will he be called King King? Why haven’t I listened to King Princess in a while? I have that album on my To Listen To list, but I’m still behind… (how my brain works…lol) Also, what the hell is Hooty? I’m scared that we’re going to see something gross, and I’m usually the one who loves it when this show goes dark and creepy… But Hooty the sound of Hooty getting out of the front door was enough to creep me out. (Might have to stop eating while I watch Ally’s reactions..lol) What do you guys think?

Sooo many good questions and I can’t wait to get the answers! I wonder if King will go through a transformation at some point and be as big as his dad? Like a Pokémon!? Haha but nothing will be cuter than baby King 🥺 And whatever Hooty is… I hope we never have to witness him detaching from the door again 😳 Lol!
