I think Luz is so desperate to learn magic that of course the coven system seems attractive. So far the only spell she actually learned was by accident and on her own... not from Eda. It seems her friends are destined for the coven system too so of course it seemed attractive. Eda seems an outsider by choice, Luz through loneliness. Maybe?
