Hey everyone!

I just wanted to let you know that a new update to Visual Feedback is now ready for testing (v1.0.0-beta.3). It fixes a few minor issues that were still present in the last release:

Fixed

  • Fixed black image background on Windows
  • Fixed support for Anki 2.1.20 beta6

Changed

  • Removed image drop shadow on macOS to bring the visuals in line with other platforms

Special thanks to Bruce, Colin, Hugo, and Kyle for reporting these and helping me troubleshoot them!

If you've missed it, please make sure to check out the note I posted yesterday about compatibility between BetterTags and add-ons like Visual Feedback. The gist of it is that you should upgrade to BetterTags v1.0.3 before installing Visual Feedback or any other of my upcoming add-on releases.

Anyways I got a bit of an issue when using Visual Feedback, I get this when I try to study having Cloze overlapper, Better tags and visual feedback enabled. As soon as I disable visual feedback this error stops. All Addons are up to date and I'm running Anki 2.1.24. Thanks! Error An error occurred. Please start Anki while holding down the shift key, which will temporarily disable the add-ons you have installed. If the issue only occurs when add-ons are enabled, please use the Tools &gt; Add-ons menu item to disable some add-ons and restart Anki, repeating until you discover the add-on that is causing the problem. When you've discovered the add-on that is causing the problem, please report the issue on the add-on support site.
