I'm always a little iffy on drawing fanart from games I've never played so I watched a bunch of Isabela cinematics from the Dragon Age games and I gotta say I'm a fan of pirate captains.

It reminded me of my Belit fanart from a couple years ago that I never quite was pleased with. 

Boring life stuff--I have been having foundation work done on my house which at first was going to be three days of jackhammering and house shaking and turned into six days, meanwhile I'm on a deadline for some freelance projects. 😵‍💫 

 Normally I bounce back from interruptions in my work pretty quickly but I've just been totally discombobulated all week ever since that. I don't mean to make this sound like an excuse or "woe is me" thing--just explaining why I have been away and why I was happy to come back and work on this. I had to sit down and basically do nothing yesterday to recharge while the literal dust of construction around here settled.

Hopefully I don't have to do anything like that again any time soon. And instead I can draw this instead.
