Very true Kay. Not nice to look at x

Interesting to hear what you thought, Kay. I really like the idea of a BFL/Cheviot yarn but I do like yarns with a bit of woolliness. Cheviot can be so crunchy/bouncy! In terms of the lavender speckles - I know it's a bit more work, but could you alternate from different ends of the skein with the helical method to spread them over both socks? I only thought I'd mentioning this because it's obviously an issue that can be really disappointing if you have a skein with this problem that you really love. Obviously not worth pushing through for a yarn you don't love though.
