Yeah, outer space (much like the Savage Land) is where interesting stories go to die. But we get to see Ronan, the Legion of Super Heroes I MEAN The Imperial Guard, the 3rd Summers brother (Vulcan was the dude lookin like he was about to execute the Kree who were kneeling), but yeah, the Storm stuff is why we came. Forge made the gun that stole her powers cause he was a government contractor, and the US Government was trying to come up with something to handle the bad guys in a comic going on at the time, ROM. He had a gun that took away their shape shifting abilities (Dire Wraiths could eat your brain and then they can turn into you until they wanted to steal someone else's shape), but they don't bring that up since Marvel had a deal with Mattel and since it expired, they cannot use ROM any more. Admittedly she holds the grudge for longer in the comics (think it takes 3-4 years to get her powers back) but after that, she's in a relationship with hum until the 90's.
