Ok so in the Luffy v Smoker fight, none of Luffy's punches actually landed on Smoker at all, they just made it seem that way for dramatic effect. I wanna go a bit into detail on how Smoker's power works since I don't think that's spoiler territory, but I don't know if YOU'LL consider that a spoiler, so I will put it far below just in case. &gt; &gt; &gt; &gt; Ok so Smoker's devil fruit isn't quite like the ones we've seen so far, in fact, you could almost say it introduces a brand new "category" of devil fruits we'll eventually see more of. Won't spoil the name but you'll find out what they're called eventually. Fruits that directly involve manipulating some kinda substance or element (like water, ice, fire, earth, smoke in this case, etc) usually go a bit further than just letting the user control them. These users, more often than not, ARE their respective elements, through and through. Smoker doesn't simply turn parts of his body into smoke to avoid damage, his entire body is constantly made of smoke and it just exists in a human-looking form based on whatever the person's supposed to look like. The smoke is him and he is the smoke. In other words, unless you can somehow counteract the smoke involved, you can't hit him, he's functionally invincible. This isn't to say these users are without weakness of course. Elements generally have their natural enemies, and devil fruit users as a whole, no matter what kind they are, have specific weaknesses we'll get to later on. That's all the info I have for now, but it's safe to say if Dragon hadn't stepped in, Luffy 100% would've lost that fight. There's no way he would've been able to damage Smoker here.

Yeah like someone else said, when smoker said “He appeared and disappeared like lightning on the same day that Gold Roger was executed 22 years ago” @51:50 he’s just referring to Luffy showing up, stating he’ll be king of the pirates and then dipping asap. Definitely confusing wording given the situation with the lightning lol

The same thing didnt happen 22 years ago, it was just talking about luffy/dragon just appearing out of nowhere and leaving.

Filler in one peice isnt for specific episodes during an arc, since one peice isnt seasonal it doesn't have breaks between seasons to let the manga get farther away, so the filler only happens in between arcs, causing for some weird pacing, but yeah, you are rare to find filler just plopped in within an arc

What you explain as "depression sickness" is what I would call a panic attack. I get them a lot and they always last for like a month or 2. The only thing that I can tolerate when this happens, is watching minecraft videos lol I don't even play minecraft XD

So now, you are far enough in that if you wanted you could watch the trailer for the upcoming Live Action One Piece, since season 1 is covering up to where you are now and the trailer has nothing past that. Beyond that, loving the theories, both the ones that are way more right then you know, and the ones that are just so off base yet still good guesses for what you know so far.

These episodes are the big ones. First the devilfruit she ate caused the fat and blemishes to slip off her body. Second buggy car made buggy a fan favorite and buggy is one of Oda’s favorite characters. Lastly the man who saved Luffy has become a fan favorite from this moment just because of the mystery because even 1000 episodes later we don’t even know if he caused the lightning to strike buggy but it has become a very popular theory.

I said it before but it was seen as a spoiler so I’ll say it now since it’s basically been confirmed. Buggy will return and now that you met him so will smoker since they did announce they will be chasing Luffy. They both said they will I won’t say when it happens but they both announced it so it should be obvious they are coming back. And all I want to say is buggy has been one of my favorites since these episodes and I am excited to see how Alicia reacts when we do see his return especially one of them in particular.

Fun Fact about this episode the crew gets to the grandline super early is cause Oda wanted the Strawhats to reach before 100 chapters in the manga, also pirates crews called nakama as to refer as each other as Friends

I think you misunderstand what Smoker said at the end there. He said "He(Luffy) appeared and disappeared like lightning on the same day that Gold Roger was executed 22 years ago". Basically Smoker revealed that this day is the anniversary of Roger's execution 22 years ago, which makes the whole situation even more interesting.
