I hope you see this even if its been almost a day since you dropped this. Arlong Park is arguably the most important arc in ALL of One Piece. It has themes that echo throughout the entire series. This is where One Piece turns from good to GREAT.

If anyone on the ship has romantic tension, it’s not with another shipmate as said by Oda. I find that to be one of the greatest things about One Piece and makes all of their relationships and cares just that much sweeter! (except whatever A and SW have going on (don’t boo me I’m right)(jobs in acronyms to avoid spoilers))

This is super important now thaf you mentioned Koby, during arlong park there is a cover series in the manga that tales stories that Oda couldn't feature in the manga itself this sometimes are really important for the plot some get animeted but others don't, definitely recommend taking a look at them 👀

Because Japanese dub isn't annoying for non Japanese speakers? The one piece English dub is on of the better ones, great quality and better jokes, I don't care if me simply pointing that out annoys you or anyone else for that matter

It's all a matter of preference. As an englishman I despise english dubs on anime. Because they are trash to me. They hurt my ears to listen to with how they butcher characters and english with weird ass accents. By comparison I find the Japanese dub far more pleasant to listen to whilst reading subs that actually make more sense and are far less cringe than what they say in the english dubs. Regardless, it is a preference and I will never complain when a reactor chooses one or the other.
