I have a theory about why we start seeing more CGI in Stone Ocean. Part 7 has a whole lot of something in it that is NOTORIOUSLY hard to animate, it's animated and drawn wrong all the time. I think they were trying to get a feel for it and get some practice before it came time to animate that.

I work nightshifts and I know the feeling of someone calling me when I'm sleeping and I answer and their like " Oh were you sleeping?" Another day of eating pistachio ice cream, cause W Ant. Also, if you belive in redemption, I saw someone recommending Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss in the comments. Hazbin Hotel only has pilot episode for now, but both shows take place in hell so lots of self inserts xD. just here to clarify that Part 4 happened in 1999, Part 5 happened in 2001, Part 6 takes place in 2011, 10 years after Golden Wind.

interesting to note that p6 was written between 2000-2003, so Araki was pretty much trying to anticipate styles and technology from 10 years in the future

Wasn't she 6/7? She's 18 or 19 during the events of stone ocean which takes place in 2011. This puts her date of birth at 1992/93. Part 4 takes place in 1999 which would make Jolyne 6 or 7 years old at the time
