Tempered Glasses

Despite all her rage, she is still just a rat in a cage.

Tempered Glasses

Ant needs justice. He will not rest until the law is followed.

Heartless

We back ^^ so a few fun facts in the opening a couple of pictures are shown in the star that forms for Jolyne a few of them are the stone mask and dio to show how far the JoJo line has come and the trails they faced to get here

VJ Sins

The anime took out a scene with a transgender male prisoner being placed in the female prison, it sucks because its a gueniuene critique of the american prison system and it was taken out and the fluff about it being free and diverse was left in.

Lina

Yea, the opening is amazing ! and there's so many refs ! like when the piano shows up, you can see Joseph's walkman, Erina's doll, the sign Dio used in his fight, this opening is amazing !

Rat#394

Shawshank redemption is fire. Also I am not into ornitology, but I'm quite sure, birds don't eat like that.

GeneralBass

"You feel like you're trapped in a cage?" Missed opportunity for "Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage".

Convergeman

I beleive there actually was a JoJos fanfiction where all the stand names were movie references instead of music references, so there actually could be a Sharknado stand out there in some alternate timeline 😂

Ano~X~Catho

at least you aren't complaining about fucking music

Kaz

I had to look up why you felt the need to remove Panic at the Disco from your repertoire, and the only controversies I found about him (yes, him, because Brendon Urie is the only active membre of the group nowadays) seems to have been proven false, so maybe in one of the patreon pre-talk you could go into further details on it since I don't think any accusations I've found have managed to stick as truth.

Ace Skeletonne

at least you guys can enjoy this part in full without the absolutely stupid release schedule that warner bros/netflix put it through, really killed any hype for this part, and unfortunately there was some budget/resource cuts that the parts animation and production quality suffers from, davidproductions put their b team in charge of this part while their main studio worked on fire force

Yoooooo, part 6 time! One of the coolest thing about the adaption for me is Jolyne's VA, Ai Fairouz. She is japanese/Egyptian and has been a massive jojo fan, so much so that she voiced fan dubs with her friends. It was literally her dream to voice Jolyne, and you can tell cuz she absolutely gives it her all with her vocal performance.

Lemon Rat

Thank you for the episode

Stone Ocean is "*nervous laughter* what the fuck?" embodied

Android 89

Jolyne's stand, Stone Free, is named after the song of the same name Stone Free by Jimi Hendrix. Also, you were curious about when part 6 happened, So here is a time frame part1: 1880's-1889, 19 years part2: 1938-1939, 1 year part3: 1989, 50 something days part4: 1999, 5-6 months part5: 2001, 1 week part6: 2011 So yeah, since Joylene is confirmed to be 19, and she was born in 1992, that Jotaro was married and a father during P4: Diamond is Unbreakable.

Also man yeah, Ant hit on something, it feels different right? Not necessarily in a bad way but I simply didn't vibe with SO like I did other parts. Feels like the strange production around Netflix was partly to blame for it.

you and Ant should play A Way out that would be funny

Yesss I've been waiting to see you two react to this for so long lol

Ervine Gates

Hey Ant! I worked with law stuff for a bit, and basically your right if you assume the lawyer is following the rules. However, if a lawyer turns on their own client, (Which is such a WTF in legal spaces it's hard to write laws around) it's entirely possible for them to control the flow of information to their client, ESPECIALLY if the client doesn't have a good relationship with police to get info from other sources. Basically, this is the lawyer equivalent to one of Dio's dog murdering scenes, it shows us right off the bat just how evil this piece of crap was.

Part 4: 1999 Part 5: 2001 Part 6: 2011

Believe it or not, the prisons in the USA that they put long term prisoners in are not as bad as the ones they stick short term people in. My parents have always swore that prison was a much better experience than jail (yes, my parents are both multiple times offending felons). I've personally never been locked up, closest I've been was in a holding cell while they searched my room my PC and my phone when I was 16. But that was only for a night and I knew all the cops and was obviously innocent so it was extremely casual.
