Salvatore Amongst his Collection (Patreon)

Hey Guys! So, as we mentioned last month we really wanna try and create a bigger interest with our anti-villain character, Salvatore; as we see real storytelling potential with him as one of the most defining protagonists of our universe. To that end, we've had a few commissions done in to showcase him and generate more audience interest.

So the story with this piece is that Salvatore has a very keen interest in the symbolism of snakes and serpents. Even without the roots being tied to his biblical origins, Salvatore has always been fascinated with how many different cultures have conflicting views on serpents as both a force for good and a bad omen. Almost a universal yin & yang of the animal kingdom. More so, Salvatore identifies with the divided symbolism of the snake as a shining metaphor for the kind of person he is - a necessary evil who does what he does for the sake of humanity as his best interests.

It is to that end that over the years of his immortal life he has acquired a vast collection of artwork and artifacts that all incorporate snakes as their primary symbol. Often times, whenever he needs to think or has had a bad string of events, he'll peruse his collection and reflect.
