Otto is, in his own messed-up way, a girl dad. Jace and Helaena are the only main(ish) characters that I like on this show. It’s crazy how insufferable most of the characters are. I think people are being a bit harsh on how Alicent handled the situation with Dyanna. Would any other Westerosi noblewoman have handled it differently? Catelyn would have done the same thing Alicent did, as would Rhaenyra; Olenna and Lysa would have been much worse. Cersei would have called the girl a whore and handed her off to Qyburn. She certainly wouldn’t have marched up to Joffrey’s room and told him off. Alicent focusing on the dishonor Aegon was bringing upon his family was not only realistic, but also the only way for this deeply emotionally-repressed woman to process what had just happened.
