July: Rhaegar and Season 7 (Patreon)

There are now two weeks until Game of Thrones Season 7 begins. Like last year, we'll produce weekly videos breaking down each episode. And this year, we'll also do a Patron-only livestream shortly after each episode, to present some ideas for the video, and chat about the ep – still working out the details on that, but should be fun!

Before the madness of S7 begins, we have time for one more video. I think it's time to cover Rhaegar Targaryen. Since the reveal of Jon's parentage in Season 6, Rhaegar will probably be a big part of Season 7. And there's a heap to discuss about Rhaegar – his relationships, political machinations, his interest in prophecy... There'll probably be far more questions than answers in a Rhaegar video, but it'll be fascinating nonetheless. If you guys have other burning topic ideas, let me know in the comments – but I think doing Rhaegar now makes sense. We'll hold another big topic vote after Season 7.

Also, the Cersei video will be publicly released in the coming days. The public version includes an ad for Audible – would like to hear any feedback from you guys on that. I usually don't like doing ads on YouTube, but I figure Audible is a service that ASX viewers will probably actually like. The public version also fixes that silly Olenna error from the original vid – thanks again for the correction, Noah and Paul!
