After three (!) years of development, Super NES Works Vol. I is finally, finally ready for you to enjoy. While a year of struggling with a difficult job and a second year of trying to keep things on track during a pandemic certainly played a part in the long gestation time for what is, in theory, a simple conversion of video scripts into print form, in reality the fact that this is not a simple conversion of video scripts into print form accounts for much of the delay. I've added far more supplemental content to this volume than any previous Works book, and I've also done a lot more work on layouts and overall style in an attempt to really elevate this beyond my previous publications.

The good news is that this was kind of the difficult proving ground. The next books I create should be of similar quality but on a much faster schedule—I'd really like to have NES Works 1987 together by the end of the year.

In any case, anyone who is currently subscribed at a print book tier will be receiving a copy of this once it comes back from the printers. The bonus version may be slower in coming for the Deluxe Book Lover tier, as it won't be produced until the book goes up for sale (which may be sometime this summer in order to tie in with the Super NES 30th anniversary). But I'll see if I can get you a standard edition copy in the meantime to hold you over!

Thank you as always for your support and patience, and I will do my best to have another book to you (or perhaps books?) by the end of the year. And, as always, I respectfully ask you do not share or post this file anywhere.

Can't wait to get the print copy this summer!

I dunno if this is the best place to share errors, but there seems to be something missing between the end of page 26 and the start of page 28. It goes from "By the time the Super NES came around," to "at the rest of the Super NES library and realize..." (the sidebar about Mode 7 is on page 27 of course).

Ah... final proofs have been submitted to the printers. There was something weird going on with that page for sure—let me see if it is too late to get this revised. Thanks!
