Something to keep in mind, Lucy's plan is not to kill the physcial body of Acnologia, they just want to stop it from destorying everything, hence why they want ships and Fairy Sphere, they restrict his movements. They believe that the Dragon Slayers can defeat his spirit form inside the rift.

Honestly, Fairy Tail has always been a series centered around "the power of friendship" so i have no idea how this is surprising. It is a feel good show and never tried to hide it. Erza literally had all of her senses taken from her and still won the fight with the reason being "she is just erza." I understand the critique but that is what this show always was and you went into it and should have picked up on it by the end of Oracion Seis arc at the absolute latest.

If you guys are looking for a show to watch, I feel like you should do Adventure Time if you haven't seen it already. 1) The lore alone goes crazy, there are multiple seasons that will take you on a journey and the show gets DEEP. 2) There is a very loyal fanbase and many people would definitely watch 3) It's the OG channel Cartoon Network so you know it's good....And that's my whole pitch lol but really I just love the show it's very unique and honestly beautifully done.

Yes I would love to see you guys do the filler episodes. IMO, you still have some of the best filler eps left to watch. It would also be cool to see you react to the endings and "Dragon Cry." I'm still in awe of how good that movie looks, tbh.
