Here's an example of all the code needed to create a fully functional menu using the new menu system. As you can see, it's pretty straightforward, and simple enough to be implemented through console commands.

No need to learn complex solutions such as CSQC and MenuQC. No need for any programming. Under the hood, the new menu system automates everything in a very flexible way. 

This is crucial because Retroquad is aimed primarily at small developers. The less work people will have to create custom menus for their games, the better. All of the fancy menu features such as visual effects and cursor scrolling will be handled automatically by the engine.
