Yeah just to forewarn you so you aren't disappointed, there really isn't a 'season 6 finale'. Or, to put it more accurately, there is, but it's in season 7. When writing the season 6 special, All This and Gargantua 2, the two creators weren't sure if that counted as it's own thing or if it came out of the season 6 episode order. Turns out, it came from the season 6 order. Which messed up the creators plans for season 6. So rather than rush through the story they wanted to tell, they decided to not have a 'finale' in season 6, and held off on finishing up that storyline until season 7.

The dude you assumed to be a lex luthor parody (which he also is) is also a parody of andy warhol.

Yes. Both men were bald and wore wigs. The rest of the Doom Factory were a cross between members of The Legion of Doom (from the Super Friends cartoon show) and the group of artists that hung out with Warhol known as The Factory. The title of this episode "It Happening One Night" is a cross between the romantic comedy movie "It Happened One Night" and Warhol's habit of calling his artsy events 'Happenings'. An absolute sheer brilliant mash-up here!

Eeny was right. You CAN talk to God with that communicator watch, and his name is Brock F*****g Samson! My favorite line in this episode was by Billy: "Why didn't WE get to be ninjas?"

I like how Hank's song to Serena is the same as the song "Maria" from West Side Story, because their very much alike. West Side Story: "Maria...I just met a girl named Maria. MARIAAAAAA!!!" Hank V: "Serena...I just met a girl named Serena. SEREANAAAAA!!" Apparently, according to Doc Hammer, there is an underground ninja-themed restaurant somewhere in New York, and all the waiters are NYU acting students doing it to get experience playing a character and never breaking character. The irony is that they think they're working there to prepare for their careers as actors. What they don't realize is they're actually preparing for their careers as waiters. lol Hank's "Don't harpoon tase me, bro!!" is from a news story about a college kid who got tased by police while protesting something...and it went viral for him yelling out "Don't tase me bro!!" in that annoying college frat boy voice. So whatever he was trying to protest was lost in the fact that he sounded like a complete tool.

Doc Hammer is a very New York New Yorker who LOVES that city...so fair warning...there's gonna be a fair amount of references to The Big Apple this season.

Which was also referenced in the first episode of Bob's Burgers, which was the one where Louise made everyone think they were selling human meat at the diner. One of people out front during the protest scene was holding a sign that said "Don't Taste Me, Bro." Classic. The "don't tase me bro" guy was protesting at a John Kerry presidential campaign event.
