Thank you so much for doing these episodes so close together. By doing that, you prove that you are indeed a Good Person yourself!! I love hearing what you have to say, and it adds a great deal to my own life. This end of season 2 was so unexpected to a number of viewers that some of them started coming up with the predictable conspiracy theories -- to such an extent that creator Michael Schur, for the only time (usually he's happy to leave some points mysterious), announced, "They really are back on earth, it's not a test or a simulation." He meant this to be clear, with no mystery or ambiguity.

Fun call back: a few episodes ago Chidi mentioned that he wished that he and Eleanor could've met differently, perhaps by her coming into his office asking to talk about ethics. And that's exactly what happens here. I'm not crying, you're crying. Shut up.
