If you didn’t have the money/insurance to pay for your medical bills, you’d be in debt and have to pay it back. 2/3 of bankruptcies in the us are due to medical debt. Nearly 70% of Americans support a system like you have across the pond but, with a few exceptions, the politicians that could actually make it happen don’t and right tooth and nail against it.

That actually was Paul McCartney playing himself for one line at the end. (Which is impressive, but remember that voice actors can contribute from anywhere, sometimes over the phone.)

Diane and PB's fight felt so realistic, I'm sorta in awe every time I watch it. Also watching PB's cheerful demeanor fall for the first time is kinda startling. I only just noticed this, but the short lull in their fight happens because Diane shows appreciation for PB's effort for the first time, and she tries to keep talking about the issue but from then on, PB keeps interrupting her to tell her all the cool things he did until she's basically guilt tripped into dropping it.
