Can't wait to see your reaction

One of my favorite episodes. Really interesting and Angel at the end: he is scary when he is passive-aggressive. But on the practical side: Cordy has let him know that he and her are not a couple. She made it very clear that she "was" -past tense- in love with him. So Angel doesn't really have a leg to stand on in this love triangle. I get he's jealous and hurt, but he has no claim on Cordy.

Yeah, but imagine if Angel had disappeared and lost his memory, and when he came back, she spends all this time trying to reconnect and recapture what they had, and when he finally remembers he basically says "not feeling it anymore". Now at this point fair enough, but then he turns around and starts banging her daughter who a year before he was basically her godfather and changing her diapers. You'd call him a shithead too, and rightly so.

It'll be interesting to see how much much having their offices(and employees) gutted by the beast affects W&H's operations. They do seem to view people as pretty expendable assets, so I'm sure they're not completely out of the game. And yeah, that whole thing with Gunn pulling off the heroic last stand surrounded by zombies only to be like "s'okay, I'm good" 2 minutes later was a......perplexing writing choice. It simple served no purpose. Definitely ridiculous. I get why Angel told Cordelia to stay back. They didn't need the distraction of those 2 together, and he needed a clear mind to find Connor and get everyone out alive. But it's unfortunate the excuse he made. He basically tells her it's too dangerous, then tells Fred to get a move on. He's either telling COrdelia she's weaker than Fred, or telling Fred she's more expendable. Not his intention, of course, but kind of unfortunate. Honestly though I don 't know anyone who doesn't groan at the whole Connor/Cordelia thing. Angel was borderline back to S2 Angel in this one. Don't blame him one bit for kicking them out. This storyline is straight out of a stepmom porno. Gonna be honest though, Gunn gets on my nerves a bit at this point in the show. He and Wesley used to be the best of friends, and it's true Wes screwed up big time, but he's also paid a high price for that. Moreover he's gone above and beyond on several occasions to make up for it. Angel was the one most directly harmed, and while I'm sure he'll never forget, he's clearly been able to bury the hatchet with Wes. Gunn is just being petty, which I know is motivated by a combination of knowing Wesley likes Fred and Fred being increasingly distant, but still, not a good look. It's been years since I watched this series and I remembered Lilah being a rather 2 dimensional character. I'm finding a lot more layers to her this time around. As her relationship with Wesley progressed it seemed that she was trying less and less to lure him over to her side and even helping him at times. I feel like there's a part of her that want's to reform, but she just can't let go of the "evil queen bitch lawyer" side of herself that's basically become her main survival mechanism, a façade she has to maintain. But cozying up to someone more "grey" like Wesley is a way to not quit that life cold turkey, and instead ease out of it. When he broke up with her, he left her back at square one, taking away what in some sense she viewed as a lifeline, one she just needed more time to climb. That's how I see it anyway. Tough to say how they're gonna take this demon down. Maybe call up Buffy and ask her for that AT4 she was going to use to kill principal Wood a few eps back. Interestingly the AT4 is a single shot tube, so if that's the same one she used to kill the Judge, it's basically junk now. Suppose they might have stolen a crate of them though.

I said it in a previous episode, your reaction between Cordy and Connor is the correct one :p I like this episode for the Zombie horror kind of scare.
