September Threshold: What Happens Next? (Patreon)

Time marches on, and that means I need to get working on the next session of Threshold. But there's a crucial decision that needs to be made. When we last left off, Sheriff Constable had taken Rolan, Ink, Sora, Ja'taarka, and Deven up to the mountains to explore the ruins. Briar, Bel, Tari, Vael, and Three Widow Jane had remained behind only to get caught up in a confrontation between Breggan Blackcrown and a band of minotaurs from Turakbar's Fist. The question I need you to answer is this: What happens next? There's two options...

• Rescuing Rolan. A day passes with no word from Constable or Rolan. It's up to Bel, Briar, Tari, Vael, and Jane to return to the mountain and try to determine what's become of their friends. This would be a dangerous dungeon crawl, with high stakes on the line. 
• Party Time. Rolan returns triumphant, and at the end of the week, Honoria Soldorak hosts a party for the newly appointed heroes of Threshold. This would be a social scenario dealing with the top citizens of Threshold. 

The main question here is if you want to delve deeper into the mystery in the mountains—or if you'd like to close the book on it for now and move on to other things. Note that there will be a party in a week either way. The question isn't whether Honoria will throw a party; it's whether she throws it NEXT SESSION, or if our next session is a dangerous rescue mission.
