My latest Eberron article explores the secrets of the enigmatic night hags, as well as the question of where nightmares come from! Thanks to you for your support and for asking compelling questions.

Tonight is also the first session of FUGUE STATE: THRESHOLD. I'm continuing to work on Frontiers of Eberron, and I'm going to through a new group of friends into that setting. As many of you are aware, this is the same setting I'm using for the game I run monthly for the Threshold tier of my Patreon, and I will be using the foundation of that campaign in running this one—I'm looking forward to seeing if these adventurers follow the same path or take things in a different direction. However, there are some key differences between the two campaigns...

  • Fugue State is livestreamed and unedited. Patreon Threshold is recorded and edited (by the amazing Rugga!).
  • Fugue State has a set cast of players. Patreon Threshold draws a new set of players each session from the pool of Threshold patrons.
  • Patrons have the ability to shape the story arc of the Patreon campaign through stories and polls.
  • The Patreon game is ongoing; Fugue State is a limited run, most likely six weeks.

If you want to check out Fugue State, the first episode will be streaming tonight at 7:30 PM Pacific Time on the Twogether Studios Twitch Channel. And if you want to get in on the Patreon game or see the previous episodes, you can find it here by joining the Threshold level!

Thanks again for your support!

Dragonmarks: Night Hags and Nightmares

The night hags of Eberron are mysterious and enigmatic. The Princess Aundair asserted that night hags were fallen fey cast out of Thelanis; it was likewise Aundair who popularized the idea that night hags created nightmares by ripping the wings off of pegasi.
