Greetings, Patrons!

While it's better than April, May is still a busy month. I'm catching up on things that got shifted by the events of April, notably taxes and FRAG -- and I can also reveal that part of what's been keeping me busy is KB Presents's Project: Pomegranate, which we've now revealed brings together Ravenloft and Eberron. We don't have a solid release date yet, but I'm sure we will have more details and peeks for you soon.

However, between all of that and the next session of Threshold (Threshold patrons, more on that later this week) I'm going to be sticking to IFAQ articles this month, and I'm here to gather questions. For those who are new to this process, here's the rules.

  • I am looking for questions that I can answer QUICKLY. If I can answer your question in a few sentences, I'll do so right here. If I can answer a question in a few paragraphs, it's a matter of whether I choose it as a topic for an IFAQ article. If the question will take more than a few paragraphs to answer, it's not going to get addressed here. So the tighter the question, the more chance I'll be able to answer it.
  • For IFAQ articles, I'm more likely to choose questions that will interest a wide audience or that could come up in many campaigns, as opposed to  super-specific questions whose answers most people will never use.
  • If a question would require me to do significant research, I'm not going to have time to address it. "What could be done with the Dreamspace" or "How do people treat familiars in Khorvaire" are both good questions because the answers are entirely rooted in Eberron. "What's interesting about the textile industry in Khorvaire" is a bad IFAQ question because *I* don't know anything about textiles—so to answer it properly I would have to research the textile industry. That's possible for a Dragonmark, but not for an IFAQ.
  • I will only answer a maximum of one question per patron per month (in terms of questions posted in response to this). You can ask as many questions as you want, if you're not sure which are easiest for me to answer, but if you ask six questions I'm only going to answer one of them.  Feel free to repost questions from previous months; just because I didn't get to a question in the past doesn't mean I won't answer it in the future.

That was a big wall of text. The main thing is that I'd LIKE to answer every question, but realistically I just don't have time.

Thank you all for your support!

Hey Keith! Apologies for the lateness but would you at all be interested in doing a creature type breakdown? Something like 1 sentence for each type of, for example, undead - where you would expect to find them in the world (or in multiple areas, where they are most commonly found)?

Joseph Meehan

Probably a fuller article, and not my first question of the month, but I'd love a breakdown of some of the most important families in each house.
