This was the BEST episode they've ever done imo. I  loved EVERYTHING! The twists, the cheese & the fight sequences 10/10! I felt betrayed by the writers re Chozen! Such a troll move. Loved the outcome though, get rek'd Silver lad! They have also left it wide open for a season 6 Kreeese arc, les gooooo!

2024-01-14 21:26:12 I am in total agreement that this season was the best yet and this finale was not only the best of the series, but one of the best finales ever. If I feel like I'm riding the world's craziest rollercoaster for 45 minutes straight, yeah, I'll marry your sister. One of the best things for me about watching your reactions to this season is that unlike the other seasons, I had only watched season five once because of two deaths that happened shortly after this season aired in September of 2022, so I had forgotten a lot of things: Stingray being the one on the phone with Amanda and eventually coming to Daniel's aid, Barnes showing up and attacking Daniel, etc. But there were also scenes that I couldn't forget and when they were coming up, I shifted my eyes to you for your reaction, and I'm sure I don't need to recap those. I especially enjoyed you glancing at the camera so you were basically looking at all of us in the eye like wtf... 😯 Yes, the scene with Johnny and the Evil Senseis when the photo of his future baby fell out was very emotional and basically gave him temp roid rage. I was particularly pleased when he took out Sensei Anime Hair Eyepatch. I'm looking forward to season six not only for the cliffhangers, but also for the change (hopefully) in the attitudes of the former (?) Cobra Kai students. As I mentioned recently, I hate Kenny more than Connor (BTVS), but this might change my thinking. The same with Devon, because she saw the carnage going on and came to Tory's aid when Sensei Da-Eun was annihilating her. I know in real life most of the actors are in their 20s at this point, but in this world she's beating up a high schooler. Oh, and I'm really wondering how Kyler will change. He's been a d*ckhead since 1x01, so it would be pretty cool to have him come around or at least change his annoying hairstyle. Really enjoyed the movie references with some of the lines: Terminator, Monty Python's Life of Brian (hey-oh!), maybe more? Can't remember. I was surprised when you said "leg-ends" as I just called you that in a comment a few days ago. Oh, and the things you saw on the side of the road were beer cans that had fallen out of the limo along with Johnny. Thanks Dak!
