The Big News (2018 - Update) (Patreon)

Time for the Big News I hinted at earlier!

In preparation for 2018, I needed to make certain I was establishing something concrete to launch from. You see, I am about to start publishing stories on Amazon, on top of running things around here. I also needed to be ready for the possibility that I could be finishing up the year doing this full time, which meant a legitimate business front.

With the help of a friend, I created my own publishing company!

The idea here was to be able to create a brand for myself and for my readers to recognize. Having my own company gives me access to additional functions on Amazon (and also helps me avoid getting burned come tax day)! Not only that, but it gives me additional protections should anybody try to steal my work and upload it elsewhere (Amazon deals with publishers better than solo writers).

For now, I have no plans to publish other author's works, so don't worry that this will become a distraction. As an erotica author on Amazon, this just grants me more power and protection, which enables me to spend more time doing what I want to do: writing.

For those of you who are curious, I created Wet Leaf Press in honor of those soaking wet pages lost forever, a sacrifice to the erotica gods (and part of the reason I created Naia, by the way). 

Now, here is the cool part.

As I get closer to the $2000 goal, I promised a higher word count. However, I have already established that I prefer to write chapters, and I refuse to pad my word counts just to make ends meet. Sometimes a chapter needs to end at 6000 words (or 13000), and I want to ensure that you are getting your money's worth if I go full time.

To keep things appropriate, I will still only publish around 3 posts a month, but I will be busy writing additional chapters or short stories to sell on Amazon to increase my word count. My Patrons will get access to any stories I upload to Amazon for free (as in Bonus Uploads!). My plan is, down the road, to write three chapters of a novel for your paid posts, and then give you a Monster Bite/Unearthly Delight for free (for example).

Now, for those of you who enjoy stories like Iceman, this also allows me to break free on occasion and write short stories that have nothing to do with the Monster-verse. Those stories will go straight to Amazon, and they will become part of the Free Pile here.
