Reiner is depressed for another reason, he led Eren to the same lies he was himself a victim of. Making him believe the Titans were the enemy and having him focus on the wrong thing the whole time. Just as he was fed lies his whole life, he was feeding Eren lies.

Reiner has been my favourite character since season 2 and so watching these past few episodes this season crushed my heart.

Rewatching the first few episodes seeing the colossal and armored titan break through the wall feels so different after this episode. Seeing that they were just kids

The reason why you remember the scene of the titan through the window when the old man was telling the story, was because Bert used that old man's story when explaining to Eren their own story. Bert: "We're from a village outside, and news arrived to us late. Then we heard a noise. And we saw titans through the window... I don't remember much after that." It was something like that.

I didn't really care much about him at first since I always liked Bertholdt more, but I did learn to respect him once this season came out tbh

Hi, is it too much of a trouble to put the episode not cropped? or at least like in the version that goes to youtube. I think copyright infringement doesn't work in Google drive so there wouldn't be any issues... I think...

@davis is there a risk even with the version they use for the edited episodes? like almost transparent in the upper part? that's a shame

their reaction in the cut and the full is different at the end, I think there might have been an editing error! probably they included their second viewing reaction in the cut

They went back to that last scene and watched again. In the cut version, you can see them watch that same scene twice.
