Photoset - More Creative Lighting Fun (Patreon)

After the first set we decided to change things up and bring in more lights. So for the first six images above, the lighting set up is exactly the same as the previous set I posted, except I have now introduced a pair of Luxceo P7RGB RGBW Light Wand mounted vertically on light stands, one either side and to the front of Tilly. On Camera left the light is set to blue, and on the right to pink.
This set took longer to get right, so that the coloured lights weren't being overpowered by the key light.
For the final set of four images we removed the rear light and the light wands, and just retained the key light. The beam of light is created using a projector, with an A4 sized magnifying sheet placed in front of the projector's lens to narrow the spread and focus the light into a beam.
At this stage I didn't own a tether cable so wasn't able to check them on a larger screen, and looking at the back of camera shots I was feeling am little pessimistic about them. The projector was an old one I had borrowed from work, and it wasn't particularly bright, and I thought the beam of light would be too faint on any finished images. However, I was really pleased with how I was able to boost this using Lightroom.
The Luxceo Light Wands are ok. I was lucky to buy them when they were on half price and they were definitely worth what I paid for them. I've used them on numerous occasions and they have given out enough light when I have used a wide aperture and ISO at about 800.
