So is this match going to go to the end of season 1? I'm not complaining!

Girish

Cast you are quickly climbing the ranks in haikyuu reactors for me. Really like your analysis on the different dynamics shown in the show, in today's case Oikawa

Once again, a bunch of predictions I'd love to respond to if only they wouldn't be spoilers no matter what I'd say. So, instead, just a quick note on language. Very good spotting that Kageyama was saying "I" again, although interestingly, he *doesn't* actually say "I" directly in Japanese, but the translators did a good job here deciding to write it that way, hoping that someone like you would notice. At 22:50 he just says "semete ichi-mai ni shinai to," which is basically: "in the very least, gotta bring it down to one blocker." He doesn't say who has to do it. It could in principle be "we gotta reduce the blockers," but given the context, he almost certainly means "I." Anyway, it's still a *slight* improvement over how he was in junior high, when he literally was saying "ore wa... ore wa... ore wa..." all the time ("I ..., I ..., I ..."), but it's still not fully team-oriented. It's a sort of odd middle ground: not really distrusting anyone, but not relying on them or letting them think for themselves, either. To bring back the "orchestra conductor" metaphor, it's like telling every player exactly how to play instead of letting them interpret the piece themselves. Some conductors might believe that that shows faith in the players because they believe in their ability to realize the conductor's full vision, but the key is that it's the conductor's vision, and his alone. Team sports can really be tricky sometimes, haha.

They can be tricky for sure, and it can depend greatly on the team itself!
