Sometimes our strength comes from within. Sometimes, it comes from our senpai's. I see you, Suga.

Ennoshita basically said the same thing Oikawa thought about in the last episode - that if Kageyama stopped trying to direct everyone and instead tried to accommodate the spikers a bit more (all of them, not just Hinata), he could be able to draw 100% out of everyone, upping the strength of the whole team. Just like Oikawa does. It's slightly simplified, the whole thing about setters is a bit more complicated than just accommodating the spikers, but for the sake of not giving you any spoilers, we can leave it at that. That thing with Suga's 'message' to Kageyama at the end is a bit confusing, but you pretty much got it. He wanted to say 'Go win this' in which he would shift all the work on Kageyama again (aka hid behind him again), but then changed it to 'Let's win this' as in let's win this together, points of both of us are one, we both play here. I believe the 'Refreshing' is a pun on Suga's name more than a commentary on his play style. I can't remember in which way, maybe Ryan or Kseniya on YT will know more. But it can be interpreted in both ways pretty easily.

Aww, I'm genuinely flattered, haha! I'll try to live up to that trust. :) But first, you said exactly what I wanted to say about Suga's white screen message. The white screen 勝てよ (kate-yo) is Suga's internal thoughts. It means "go win this" (actually, really unrelated, but it just so happens to be exactly the same line Alphonse says to Ed in Episode 62 of FMA, which they vastly improved by dubbing it as "Keep moving, brother"). Anyway, as you can tell from the FMA quote, it's a command to someone *else,* as if Suga himself were dropping out of the game and was no longer part of the win. He catches himself in that "bench player / outsider" mentality just before he says it aloud, and then tries to restate it as something that he's also part of. Also spot on for the setter discussion. What "leadership" and "trust" mean will be kind of a constant theme for Kageyama until at least the end of Season 4. As for "Mr. Refreshing," I think we can be confident that "sawayaka (爽やか)" isn't really a pun, especially since I don't think Oikawa knows Suga's real name. "Sawayaka(-na)" means someone who lightens the mood or brightens the atmosphere. Oikawa just saw how everyone was all tense and down, but then Suga comes in and (strategically) fools around, hitting and scolding everyone into relaxing and refocusing, so Oikawa decides on that nickname. Maybe something more like "pick-me-upper" would be closer to the original Japanese intent. Oikawa has a nickname for everyone. He doesn't really call anyone by their actual name, at least to my recollection. <-- Edit, never mind: the first-years, Kindaichi and Kunimi.

Nice analysis throughout. I found myself wondering if you've coached teams before, since you were definitely starting to sound like Ukai. 12:30 Pretty sure that one of the YT commenters will get this, too, but Oikawa's 2nd ace is a bit different from Yamaguchi's serve. Basically, it's closer in spirit to a "drop shot" in tennis if that's understandable. Basically, you force people to stand back by serving stupid hard, and then when they're expecting another blast, you just pop your hand and drop it up front, and they don't have time to get there. The serve Yamaguchi is working on, on the other hand, is ideally spin-less, so the motion is erratic and unpredictable. It might stay in the air really long, or veer left, right, or down at any moment. 17:30 Quick correction to the subtitles: Ennoshita was saying that Suga doesn't know a lot of things about Tsukishima yet (not the other way around), so that's why Suga is trying to find out more about him by complimenting him after the point and seeing how he feels. 18:15 I think this moment's pretty important. Like, Ennoshita's saying, "don't panic if the spikers get put up against a blocker or two. They can still make the point even if you don't find some magically perfect set-up where they're in the clear." Kageyama had been thinking this whole time that he had the responsibility to completely clear a path for the spikers, as if they couldn't deal with any adversity on their own. 19:15 I'm assuming that laugh was at the Bakugo voice? Haha. I feel it, too.

It was to the Bakugo yell LMFAO, I can’t believe you nailed that. Thanks for all the info, it always helps me go forward being just a little more prepared. 😁
