Would you be interested In watching movies that are so bad they are good? Those can always be great laugh

Ben Wheeler

I’m kind of behind the curve and just watched Iron Man 3. You mentioned you were from Chattanooga (which was actually North Carolina in the movie). I grew up about 15 minutes across the Georgia state line. What part of town are you from?

Aldo Gonzales

Since you already saw Karate Kid part 1, when do you plan to watch parts 2 and 3 and Cobra Kai?

Alex Tan

Since you've been heavily involved with all of the franchises that you're currently watching on your channel, like Mission: Impossible, Planet of the Apes, The Naked Gun, The Karate Kid and Dirty Harry, how do you plan on finishing all of them while balancing them out with singular one-off movies? In your last Q&A, you did mention that you found Barbie (2023) more rewatchable. Did the film's message resonate with you or was it mainly because of the emotional value it had? And do you have any strong opinions regarding people disliking the movie for its message, its target demographic, and the prospect of more Mattel film adaptations? What are your favorite chick flicks and rom-coms? Have you seen Space Cadet (2024) with Emma Roberts? If so, what did you think of it? My girlfriend & I watched it and we both enjoyed it. Where does Black Hawk Down (2001) rank with all of the other Jerry Bruckheimer movies that you've watched? So far, you've previously seen the Beverly Hills Cop, Top Gun & National Treasure duologies, The Rock (1996), Armageddon (1998), Remember the Titans (2000) and the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. Speaking of Jerry Bruckheimer, will you react to Disney's Young Woman and the Sea (2024) with Daisy Ridley as Trudy Ederle, the first woman to swim across the English Channel? My girlfriend & I watched it on the day before the start of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and we both enjoyed it. Where does Unforgiven (1992) rank with all of the other Best Picture Oscar-winning movies that you've watched? So far, you've previously seen The Godfather duology, Rocky (1976), The Silence of the Lambs (1991), Schindler's List (1993), Forrest Gump (1994), Braveheart (1995), Gladiator (2000), LOTR: Return of the King (2003), The Departed (2006), No County for Old Men (2007), Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022) and Oppenheimer (2023) on your channel and have seen The Sound of Music (1965) & Titanic (1997) on your own. What are your thoughts on the "ideal runtime" for movies being 92 minutes long? Since you've predominantly watched a lot of safe movies (safe as in light-hearted) on your channel, are you still open to stepping out of your comfort zone to watching movies that are darker & edgier? What was the most stressful movie that you ever watched on your channel? In general, are you opposed to watching anxiety inducing movies?

Alex Tan

Thats MR. Baldamort

So I have a few thought provoking questions for you: -We always talk about accomplishments and wins, BUT what are some things that truly disappoint you that you wish could be different either in your life or your career as a movie reactor? -Do you have any real life "heroes" you look up to or that inspire you? If so, who are they and why are they your heroes? -Last question: What impact do you want to leave on the world or people to remember you as? I hope these are not too hard of questions, spend a couple min, think about them :)

Aldo Gonzales

Cool questions, but I think you can make a few of them shorter. Not erase, just shrink.

Randolph Tirazona

Is "Doc Hollywood" 1991 and "The American President" (1995) on you're list?!?

Gremlin8723

If it ever came up for a request or a vote, would you ever be interested in watching any of the Studio Ghibli films like Spirited Away or Castle In The Sky?

Andrew Storing

Now that you’ve watched The Karate Kid are you gonna do parts 2 and 3 down the line and the Cobra Kai series after?

Doug

Hi Addie, how does a Mockumentary film poll sound? Some possible entries: - This is Spinal Tap - What We Do in the Shadows - Best in Show - Zelig - A Mighty Wind - Behind the Mask: The Legend of Leslie Vernon - Marcel the Shell with Shoes On

Carlo Glingani

Hi Addie, would you consider watching Togo in the future? is a live action Disney film starring Willem Dafoe that tells the true story of the sleddogs who saved a town in Alaska from a disease in the 1920s. It's the real story that inspired the Balto animated moivie. It's a really beautiful film and I recommend it to you and I'd love to see your reaction!

drew

what are type of horror stories that would scare you the most. vampires werewolves zombies aliens mutant monsters ghosts demons serial killers satanic cults

Andre Agog

Having seen both the classic Monty Python films, are you tempted to try their third one, "The Meaning of Life"? It has the best songs!

Guillaume Huet

Hello Addie! Here is my question for this month: An unexpected event happens and you suddenly become very famous. A biopic is made about you. Which actress(es) would portray you the best? (you may cite a role in a movie ofc if you don't know the name of an actress you think of)

Aldo Gonzales

He makes statements following the questions. Those statements are a little overwhelming. Just questions will do fine.

Jake Stokes

If you were to have a movie made about you what genre would it be and who would play you

Alex Tan

The statements are primarily used to recap certain movies that Addie previously watched in two of my questions regarding where a new movie ranks with the others in a specific collection, like Best Picture Oscar-winning movies and Jerry Bruckheimer.

Thomas Wetherell

Hi Addie, hope you’re having a wonderful summer. Do you have any interest in putting When Trumpets Fade on a war movie poll in the future? Its a lesser known movie and one I freely admit isn’t as good as some of the other war movies you’ve already reacted to, but I still think it’s worth watching and depicts war from a perspective that isn’t usually shown in movies.

Byrd N. Hand

Or "And Now for Something Completely Different," for that matter (technically their first one, even if it's recycled material from their show)?

Phil Stubblefield

Think back to the kinds of movies you tended to watch before you started your channel. How have your tastes changed? If you were free to choose films without regard to your patrons, what genres that didn't interest you before might you now be drawn to?

Byrd N. Hand

Time for another October prep sheet 😊 (no need to read this in your Q&A). I know you promised to watch "Young Frankenstein" during the month, so I'll leave that one out. More comedic/light-hearted in nature: "Murder by Death" "Clue" "The 'Burbs" "Corpse Bride" "Dark Shadows" "Frankenweenie" "What We Do in the Shadows" Sequels/prequels to past October reactions: "Red Dragon" and "Hannibal" "Prometheus" "Doctor Sleep" 'Creature' features: "Creature from the Black Lagoon" "The Birds" "Piranha" (1978) "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (1978) "Arachnophobia" More 'thriller-y' than scary: "Repulsion" "Wait Until Dark" "Rosemary's Baby" "Play 'Misty' for Me" "The Dead Zone" "Christine" "Misery" "Black Swan" More tragic than scary: "Frankenstein" (1931) [you'll get even more of the jokes in "Young Frankenstein" if you watch this first] "The Fly" (1986) Zombie movies (not as comedic in nature as "Shaun of the Dead" or "Zombieland"): "Night of the Living Dead" (1968) and "Dawn of the Dead" (1978) "28 Days Later" "Train to Busan" Werewolf movies: "The Wolf Man" (1941) "The Howling" "An American Werewolf in London" Bona fide horror films: "The Exorcist" "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (1974) "Black Christmas" (1974) [you can also watch this in December 😏] "The Omen" (1976) "Suspiria" (1977) "The Fog" (1980) "Poltergeist" (1982) "Sleepy Hollow"

Cameron Kerby

Hi Addie. Would you be interested in shifting focus from Jim Carrey’s comedies to more of his dramatic work? I firstly recommend Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It’s just brilliant. And another one to consider is The Truman Show.

Alex Tan

However, I would love to see her watch the 2000 Extended Director's Cut of The Exorcist (1973), AKA: The Version You've Never Seen. #TheExorcistForAddieCounts

Byrd N. Hand

You recently re-uploaded "Master and Commander" to YT after it was blocked after being up for several months. Could there eventually be more re-uploads? If not, would it be possible to at least also put the blocked edits of "Jurassic Park III" and "Everything Everywhere All at Once" up over here as you did for "Lethal Weapon," "The Iron Giant," and "Top Gun: Maverick"?

Brennan

Hi Addie. I absolutely loved your reaction to one of my all time favourite horror movies “The Shining” as we approach Halloween do you think you’ll react to more horror movies (despite how much you hate them)? If so. I would love to see you dive into the “Insidious” series of movies

Neversure

I would ask: "would you like to know more" Or: "Who needs a knife in a nuke fight anyway?" But you have already seen that movie 🤷‍♂️😂

Byrd N. Hand

October is indeed the one month of the year she's willing to subject herself to scary movies... though she usually only ends up watching about 2 bona fide horror films a year ("The Shining" and "Alien" 2 years ago, and "Halloween" and "The Thing" last year); the rest tend to be merely suspenseful movies and lighter Halloween-y titles. Because of this, I prefer to see her watch more genuinely time-tested classics of the genre, as I listed a couple comments above this one... ☝️

Doug

There are certainly some decent movies on that list. If I had to pick I'd say I think my own favorite ones on it are The Exorcist, The Omen, 28 Days Later, American Werewolf in London, and Misery. A few other Halloween season suggestions might be: - Tucker and Dale vs. Evil (I highly, HIGHLY recommend this one for a poll, it's fantastic and very funny, even adorable at times!) - Get Out - either Hereditary or Midsommar - Drag Me to Hell - The Ring - A Quiet Place - From Dusk to Dawn (which would fit her Tarantino binge) - A Nightmare on Elm Street

Billy Dancel

Hello Add-E and a hello to Oll-E! In your last AMA you mentioned taking with Ames from Hold Down A. Any possibility of a team up reaction video? I’m hoping you saw yourself in J2O’s video thumbnail. Did you watch the video? You mentioned you have learned to deal with mean comments (How dare they?!) The reaction channel, CineBinge has a video compilation of reactors reacting to mean comments. Would you do a video clip for them if they asked? With the year more than half over, does Chernobyl still rank high as a favorite series? Take care of yourself!!

Randolph Tirazona

I know this is extremely late... But anyway: "How do you 'prepare' when watching movie?" Ugg! Not quite right... Ever since the mid 1960's I've always approached any movie as: 'An adventure into a new world!' Escapism lol And this totally holds true to at least the early 90's.

LaserLamb

Would you ever do Patreon Exclusives, such as the types of movies I mentioned last Q&A, music-heavy movies that wouldn't fit YouTube's copyright parameters..?
