Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 I've been looking forward to you getting to this one. This one is my favorite in the "Apes" trilogy. Can't wait for "War for the Planet of the Apes" up next. No spoilers, but be sure to have tissues on hand for that one. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊

Happy Wednesday, Addie. Caesar's journey continues as you're now into the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014). See you soon for War (2017).

"Don of the Planet of the Apes"... a movie that follows the post-apocalyptic misadventures of a chimpanzee named Don.

In the original The Planet of the Apes movie they somewhat explained that man destroyed themselves through war. I do not recall them ever specifically mentioning war, but that was a looming threat of the times, so it makes sense. I like the explanation of a man made disease better, because I find it hard to buy that we will ever have a war so overblown as to destroy humankind. That is just my opinion.

So odd that there are bears in California. They could have at least warned people with some kind of sign, maybe on the state flag even. :P Just messing with you all. :D

It is always the simple minded, those with no reason or understanding to opposing views, who create the greatest problems in society. One man, not willing to give peace with the apes a chance, or one ape not willing to see more than hate for humans, and any chance of peace is ruined.
