Had a bit of a bad run recently, started watching a whole bunch of films that ultimately weren't quite right so here's a rundown. Apologies if one of these was your suggestion - we appreciate every suggestion but we have to go with the movies that work for us.

Private Parts: Certainly weird and different, but not quite bad enough.
Phantom From Space: To be honest, the title was probably too close to Phantom Planet for us to do now but from the 15 minutes I watched it's more boring bad than funny bad. Over-reliant on stock footage but I might give it a fuller watch when I'm in less of a hurry.
Sextette: Graham though it was worth a look, but really not our type of film. The last film of Mae West, 84 and practically blind playing a sex kitten with absolutely no reference to the fact that she was 84 and practically blind. More sad than bad.
Cry of the Werewolf: This was a disappointment and I watched over half an hour of it. Firstly disappointing because it's more Cat People than Wolf Man (which would have suited a review better). I liked the secret passage that everyone seemed to know about, but it was neither bad enough nor funny enough.

We were searching for something not 80s as we've done so many recently, and we eventually settled on The Devil's Messenger, one of those which I don't think will get great views, but I'm pleased with the review, I think it's funny.

Stephen Crane

I have actually seen two episodes of 13 Demon Street, 'The Vine of Death' and 'The Black Hand' from the Dvd of Karloff's The Veil.

Chris Hewson

You're right about Sextette not really being DC material. I also happen to really enjoy it, haha. That might say a lot about me xD I think it's charmingly amusing, and felt West was fun. The less said about Timothy Dalton's singing though... 😂 I DID however have the exact same reaction to you with Cry of the Werewolf. I intended to review it myself a while back, but as the movie went on my enthusiasm for doing so just dipped. Not bad, but just kinda there.

Dalton is better than Brosnan, although no where near as good as Connery or Moore. Lazenby wasn't a bad singer while Craig isn't great. Maybe when they finish reshooting the whole movie and release it a Bond sing off video?

I sat down to watch Sextette last year and had much the same reaction. I was expecting a good-bad film and, instead, it was just depressing. The apocryphal story is that she had to use a wireless earpiece to be fed her lines and that it kept receiving signals from air traffic, causing her to blurt out nonsense about airplanes during filming.
